It was unbelievable! Where we stopped, we stayed rooted there for almost a minute. Everyone had their gazes fixed in the front while what i desired to see at the moment was only— Ryley's face. He had some of the expressions that I have never noticed on his face.
It was the pain of losing something. Although he did not lose anything but what we could see at the moment was no less than a trauma. It was the worst way of torturing someone, especially a wolf. A mate.
There was Valen wrapped in a sticky web with just her head visible. Her face was not quite visible as it was covered with her hair. The sight was not only shocking but scaring. If not for me but for Ryley. He was seeing her with tear filled eyes.
