FIVE || PUSHED HER?

It was already too late before Athena realized she did not have any money on her to grab a taxi.

She had to walk back to the Lu's mansion fortunately for her, it wasn't too far in the suburbs but it still took her two hours to get there because the grand hall was located in a private area. By the time she got home, her legs were already sore she was sure she was bleeding.

Alongside the soreness and pain she felt all over, she felt really sick.

Athena stood in front of the villa and sighed, she couldn't wait to hug her bed. The Lu's were a small rich family not too high up in the chain, but Mr. Lu had invested a lot in his villa to make it a top notch Mansion, with modern facilities it was bagged one of the fanciest mansions.

Athena entered through the back door mostly used by the servants, she quickly maneuvered her way as she was used to it. Even though she was a Lu's daughter on the surface, Athena was never treated as such. She would work even more than the servants and sleep in the Attic where is was so cold just so she "get out of camela's sight". Athena had just gotten to the stairway leading to the attic, she really needed to sleep.

"you really have the balls to sneak into the house after the stunt tou tried to pull yesterday"

camela was going to get a servant to paint her nails when she saw Athena on the stairways,she knew Athena didn't come back home yesterday, she was sure her planned worked when she saw Athena with a new pair of clothes but she wanted to get back at her for embarrassing her yesterday so she could never let go of such opportunity.

Camela smirked as she quickly thought of an evil plan, she went at Athena and used her nails to scratch her, on impulse Athena quickly retracted her hand and Camela fell backward, she scream at the top of her voice like she had been seriously injured.

"Ahhhhh...."

She scream attracted a small crowd of servants.

Grasps could be heard as camela was groaning on the floor, she held her leg wailing like she was in serious pain.

"Miss Lu... ,what happened... "

Some of the servants tried to get her up, meanwhile Madam Lu made her way over, she heard screaming from the living room and thought it was probably one of the maids, she didn't expect it to be her own daughter.

"Camela!... what's wrong ... what happened to you"

"mom my leg, it hurts so bad..."

camela winched in between words, she looked like she was really bearing a lot of pain.

Mrs.Lu looked at the scene and then at Athena who stood there, she guessed with the position she must have pushed Camela.

"you bi**h, you pushed my daughter, why did you push her, what has she done to you... "

Mrs.Lu kept on ranting not even asking what had happened, some of the servants already guessed it was one of Miss Lu's tantrum, they had witnessed a lot so they were already used to the scenery.

"mom, i don't know what happened, I saw Athena and just asked her why she didn't come home last night and she called me all sorts of names and said it wasn't my business and pushed me".

In just a few sentences, camela had successfully put the blame on Athena and also that she didn't come home last night.

" you didn't come home last night and you still have the audacity to harm my daughter, you really have it coming".

Mrs.Lu was already fuming at this point, she was already angry for the embarrassment of yesterday, a lot of people had made fun of her that she couldn't keep her family in check and let a way ward member attend such an important ball, others were curious about her identity. She so angry she spent the night convincing Mr.Lu to throw Athena out of their house and now this happened, it was giving her more reason to do so.

"you will leave my house this instant",

she turned to the servants almost shouting.

"go upstairs and get her things, throw them out!!"

Even though the servants really liked Athena and knew she probably wasn't in the wrong, they were still under the Lu's payroll and didn't want to lose their jobs so they had to obey.

In unison they said "yes Madam"

Camela smiled secretly, she had gotten what she wanted but when she looked at Athena she was dumbfounded. Athena looked calm too calm, since the beginning she didn't even shake, she looked as if she was in control of everything, she never allowed her enemy shake her. Camela hated her for that, she had such elegance from a young age, she was always so calm, unruffled. Camela had tried to imitate it but she couldn't, she always wanted to whine and complain to her parents but no matter what Athena never flinched. It was really annoying, she had tried so hard many times to break her facade.

Athena stood there taking it all in, on the surface she was calm and collected but she was actually dumbfounded, it all happened so fast she was still processing it, if the maids were not matching to the attic where she stayed to get her things, she would have thought it was just a fringe of her imagination but no matter what, she could not let them see her down. It was one of her motto, to never give to those who wanted her down what they wanted. She knew camela was a spoiled brat, but she didn't expect her mom to really throw her out of the house.

Camela was carried by some maids to her room, her mother had quickly called a doctor to check on her. Athena was left standing by herself as the maids had already taken her things outside under the madame's instructions.

There was nothing she could do, she carried her bag which was not even heavy, she hadn't gotten anything from the Lu's, they treated her worse than a slave and still refused to throw her out mostly because Mr. Lu refused, for what ever reason he adamantly refused to throw her out which was why Athena was surprised when Mrs.Lu actually did throw her out. In a way she was happy to be out of that h*ll hole where she wasn't even treated decently but she had no where to go and her temperature was now running high.

Athena looked around when she saw a payphone, she quickly walked to it and made a call to her close and only friend. In no time there was a car parked across the street with the driver waving at her. Athena smiled, no matter what her friend was always reliable. Athena walked over and got into the car, and it quickly zoomed off.

"so Madame Lu has finally succeeded in throwing you out, and what did Mr.Lu say about this".

Jasmine was surprised when she got the call from her friend to pick her up, she had tried so many times to persuade and get Athena out of that house but Mr. Lu always made sure her plans failed, so she was surprised to find out that Mrs.Lu had driven Athena out.

"I don't think he knows, he should be in his business meetings now, but it doesn't matter, I am not going back there".

"that's the spirit, I am glad you finally came to your senses before they killed you, now you can stay with and we would be single forever " Jasmine smiled at Athena.

"And you think your father would allow you to stay single, I am pretty sure he set up a date for you tonight "

jasmine sighed, "Yah he did, I really don't want to go, can't we just do a sleepover and have fun we have never done one, now you are free from the Lu's clutches we can all the fun we want, please.... jasmine graded Athena's hand with her free hand when she noticed her burning temperature. " Thena you are burning up, are you sick?, I will take you to the hospital".

"No.. no it's fine, I am just really tired and need rest, I will take some pain killers for the headache, it's fine". She just wanted to sleep, she really didn't feel like going to the hospital.
