My f*******: account was hacked on May 29, 2022, around dinner time. How did it happen? Well on the same day, I was browsing on my browser, looking for a specific file for a game that I badly want to play. It wasn't a cheat or mod but a map. I'm only looking for a map so I would be able to play the game in a different environment. So, I saw one who looks legit on a website that I can no longer remember. I didn't doubt the site because it has ratings. Then, I clicked the download link, not the one that's suddenly popping out, the fake ones. After clicking it, a zip file was downloaded. I extracted it because I thought it was the file I'd been looking for but it wasn't. It turns out that that file was malware that gave access to my whole computer (even the files) to a hacker. I immediately realized that it wasn't the file I'm looking for so I deleted it. It wasn't an application because nothing ask me to install something after I extracted it. I'm oblivious to the fact that my whole laptop and social media account was already in danger. It was around 7:28 pm, I was rewatching the DOTA 2 TI9 Grandfinals on Youtube using my desktop when I received a text from my girlfriend asking me if I deactivated my sss account or block her because she can't send me a message. I was so confused when I read the text because I didn't do either of the two. I checked my messenger app on my phone and I really can't send a chat to my girlfriend or to anyone. I thought messenger only encountered problems so uninstalled it and then downloaded it again. When I was about to sign in on messenger, it asked me to open my sss account on an app or on a desktop to upload a picture of my ID. I don't have the f*******: app on my phone, yeah, that's how I hate sss. So I tried to open my sss account on my desktop instead. I clicked File Explorer software on my desktop to look for my ID picture but all of my files suddenly became unsupported. To enlighten you, documents have .docx, .xls, etc file type, right? As for images, it can be .jpg or .png. But suddenly all of my files have .zxcvbn (I forgot the exact file type) file type, making them unsupported. Their names suddenly changed from Chapter 1.docx.zxcvbn. I can't open any of them. Every file on my computer turned into that except for the files on Local Disk C, which only have software files. I panicked even more when my little sister said that our older sister sent a message to her, asking if my sss account was hacked because her husband saw that the account changed its cover photo to a nude photo. My sister was so confused because she knew that I'm not using f*******: for more than 3 years already. That's what convinced me that my sss account was hacked but I'm still clueless as to how did that happen. I have a very strong password that no one can ever guess. The first thing that crossed my mind at that time is I downloaded something that has a computer virus. That's what I thought happened until I saw a notepad, that .txt file. There was a file like that in every folder. It has a file name _readme. When I opened and read it, that's when I only understand what was exactly happening. I was bewildered because that text file was from the hacker of my sss account. He said that he encypted all of the files on my Laptop and the only way for me to decrypt it is to buy their software which would cost me more or less 500$. Of course, I didn't do that. What I did instead is send an email to them, since he left his email. I curse him due to anger then he replies that I should start working so I will get my files back. That man was crazy. I'm not sure how he hacked my sss account but maybe because its tab is open at that time. That night I changed the password of my main google accounts and I was right to do that because the next day he tried to open my account but its security is too strict. If he happened to open my google account at that time, he will be able to hack important accounts of mine, specifically my accounts on investment brokers. I saved my login info on my google account. Using that google account, they will see my email and the exact password. He can hack and steal everything from me if he happened to get that google account. I reset my whole desktop just to make sure that I got rid of that file. The last horrible thing that he attempted to do is to buy something on sss using my account and payment method. It wasn't successful though because he needs the OTP to complete the payment. It happened just yesterday morning. Because of what happened, my backup files, word documents of the chapters of all of my stories were lost. Including the stories that I didn't continue, that one that involves a mermaid and a ghost. I even edited some chapters of my previous stories because I have a plan of publishing them as an ebook on sss when my contract with Stary is done. Now, I need to start all over again.

It was traumatizing for me. So guys, please take care while using the internet. Hacking someone's computer or phone is easier than we thought. They were pretty good at these kinds of things. That's all,
