The two people who had stepped out of the building were none other than Kata and Blake - surprisingly enough, the vigilante did not finish him off despite telling him that she would do exactly that. He was, however, completely battered and beaten - he looked like he was hanging on to dear life, and his eyes were half-open, indicating that he was barely conscious. His bloodied face really showed it all.
