I don't know why, but how Shaun would feel first came to my mind when she told me about her plan. She was planning to ruin his life, and I don't know why, but it seems like she had resentment towards him. I also don't have any idea if Shaun didn't know everything about her anger, or if he knew that she had resentment towards him but he just kept his mouth shut.
