I lied. I f*****g lied. Yes, I admit that I'm already hungry, and it seems like the meal I ordered won't be enough for me. Because of my pride and being stingy, I decided to save myself in order for Shaun to save his money. If I ordered food that I knew I would be satisfied with, then my stomach would not be complaining because of hunger now.
We were on our way home, and it appears that I was left hungry in that area. Shaun was comfortable playing some music on his radio, while I, on the other hand, was faking my sleep so that I would forget that I was starving right now.
It’s a good thing that he thought to turn on the radio because if it’s not, then there’s a possibility that he might hear how my stomach growls a bit because of hunger.
