I turned to look at him with a grimace plastered on my lips after I looked at Shaun, who until now was staring at his ipod.
My face warmed a bit when I realized that he hadn’t heard my apology even though I blurted it out accidentally. Conrado looked at me confused, so I couldn't help but feel ashamed of myself.
I laughed hysterically, which made Shaun look at me with his furrowed brows. Conrado raised his eyebrows, so I know that even he was confused by my laughter. I saw how Shaun removed his airpods, and it seemed like he had a plan to ask me why I was laughing alone.
