People always ask me why it is so hard to trust other people.
Why?
I had a problem back then when I trusted my friends, and it almost ruined my name. I almost perished, and I promised myself then that if I ever met someone again, I would not trust them. Trusting them is such a hard thing to do.
These days, it's so hard for us to trust someone we know. Everyone wants to be your friend when you have the things they want and if they benefit you. If they know you don't do anything good for them, they will reject you, even if you are their friend.
Just like me, Caia has a hard time trusting other people. Just like me, she was once deceived by people she trusted. Just like me, she never trusted people close to her, like her family.
