There are some weekends that are really not very nice. We had a spate of ghastly-hot weather, and everyone was talking water restrictions. Belinda rang me because there were bushfires on the outskirts of Sydney. Nothing near me. Never near me. I live far too inner-city for that. But she rang me to check that things were okay. I guess it was all that stuff that’s been happening around her; she wasn’t her usual calm and managing self. And she always worries about me when she gets disorganised.
