He dragged us to his house and when we arrived I was in awe. I was in his house before, but he must have moved. When I left he lived in a two story modern house with his parents. But now, he lived in an mansion, at the entrance there were statures of wolves. They looked almost noble. After we passed the front gate where the man who worked there gave me a weird look, as if he was wondering what I was doing there. We walked through the front door and I was speechless. This had to be at least 3 stories, there was a marble stair way right when you walked in. I was curious where it lead but Sam pulled me down the hall. "Last door on the right" was all he said before letting me go. I walked to the mentioned room, looking around as I did. I opened the door and entered a to a bedroom, there was a dresser and a queen size bed. This must be a guest room. I sat on the bed not really knowing what to do next.  The door opened and when I looked over, a woman stood there with clothes in hand. "Hello, I'm Lacy. I was asked to bring you these." She wore a maids outfit and a warm smile that didn't reach her eyes. I returned the smile nonetheless. "Thanks" I sad taking the clothes from her. She turned and left. I quickly changed and into the simple tights and crop top. This outfit shows off my curves and I smiled to myself when I heard a know at the door. "Elle? You decent?" Sam asked through the door. Strutting over to the door, I opened it with a bright smile on my face. "Yup" I was standing on the heels of my feet when I noticed hie eyes gazed over my body. I cleared my throat to get his attention back to my eyes.  His face became red as he scratched the back of his head and flash me an embarrassed smile. "S-sorry" he stuttered out. "It's fine" I replied, also turning red and glancing down at my fidgeting hands. "Uh- did you want something?" I peaked up from under my lashes just in time to see him shift as realization hit his face. "Yeah, I was wondering if you were hungry. I could make you something, or we could go out and eat." My head shot up. "You can cook?" When I left Sammy couldn't make anything but basic sandwiches. Once he almost burned down his house trying to make cupcakes on my tenth birthday. His old house. "Of course. I've evolved from my days of making ham sandwiches." Now this I had to see. I gave him a skeptical look, before laughing. "Okay if you say so" this caused him to laugh too. He stepped to the side to let me out of the room, I closed the door and he led to the kitchen. There were marble counters and a silver fridge that was almost afoot taller than me. I sat on one of the wooden stools that was next to the island, as I watched Sam grab bread, cheese, and some kind of lunch meat. After grabbing a pan and putting in on the eye that was somehow already aflame, he put everything on the island in front of me. I gave him a confused look, "I thought you evolved from your days of making ham sandwiches?" he chuckled. "I have. This is turkey/" for this first time in a long time I laughed out loud, a genuine laugh.  He put two pieces of cheese on the bread then two pieces of turkey, another two pieces of cheese and another slice of bread on top. I stayed silent, curious what he was doing. He turned from me and took butter from the fridge and a butter knife, he came back and spread the butter on the bread. He then took the buttered up sandwiches and placed it in the pan and grabbed a spatula. "You mind putting that stuff up?" he asked referring to the ingredients. Without a word I grabbed he meat, cheese, and butter and placed them back in the fridge. I took the knife and washed it in the sink, humming a tune as I did. There were more dishes in the sink so I washed them to since I was here. By time I was done I heard a plate hit a hard surface, I dried m hands on the hand towel that was hanging above the sink and turned the see where the sound came from. There was a plate with the sandwich on it. I walked over and sat across from it. "You didn't have to do that ya know" Sam slid the plates over to me. I eyed as I replied. "Yea, I know. I wanted to"  "eat the sandwich Elley. I promise it's good" he said watching me eye the sandwich. I cringe at the nickname he called me as I pick it up and hold it close to mouth nose to smell. not that I needed to, the kitchen smelled of grilled cheese and meat. Sammy gave me a knowing look as I finally took a bite. The cheese melted perfectly in my mouth and the turkey was warm and toasted with the cheese. It tasted of heaven itself. "Told you it was good" I just rolled my eyes playfully, unable to speak thanks the mouth full I had. He watch my scarf down half the sandwich before I realized that I was eating alone. I stretched out my arm offering him a bite. He took it from me and took a big bite before handing it back. I finished the heaven sandwich and wiped my face with a napkin he gave me. He sat there smiling at me as I did. "What?" I asked  "Nothing, you've just haven't changed in six years."  "What do you mean, of course I have."  "Not really. Your the same person I've known when I was eleven. The same girl who I had snow fights with, and the same girl who is in love with chocolate" This made me smile, I always thought I've changed so much in my years away. I don't do anything I used to. Don't spend as much time outside as I used to. We spent the next ten minutes catching up and reminiscing over the old times.  Sammy and I were laughing over the time he taught me was to riding his god forsaken skate board, when there was heavy foot steps coming from the doorway. We both turning to see and boy with black hair that was done in a messy style. He looked to be almost a foot taller than me, only a few inches on Sam. He was muscular and his black v-neck hugged his muscles. His eyes looked emotionless and empty. I felt Sam tense up next to me, I wondered what that's about.  "Alec, I thought you were out for a run" Sam said to the boy. Alec looked at me, than back at Sam and seemed to get angry. Angrier than he already was at least. "We were just leaving" Sam said gripping my arm rather tightly and pulling me to the door way where the boy still stood. He stepped to the side to let us pass, and as we did, I was close enough to him to smell his cologne. I smelled of pine oak and rain. I looked in his eyes and they seemed familiar. Like I've seen them before somewhere.  We left the kitchen and I was full of question. Who is Alec and why did Sam pull me away so fast. If this was Sam's house why did we have to leave? Sam pulled me all the way to the front door. "I'll take you home"  "But, why? Sammy I thought you said this way your house? Who was that?"  "I'll explain everything on the way, but we have to leave now." I nodded and he opened to door. It was night now. I had been here longer than intended. I knew Joshua and my dad would be worried and I dreaded the lecture that was to come. Sam and I walk out the door and made our way to my house, and I awaited his explanation.
