Layla's POV
Still stunned from breakfast I go into work. Thank the gods I am a paid intern, I think to myself.
There's a meeting today so I have to get everyone's coffee and attend the meeting. Most intern's don't go to the meetings but I am Kevin's intern and he is Mr. Blackwell's assistant.
I forgot about him with everything going on, but after that dream how could I forget.
I bring the coffee into the conference room and of course there he was. It was like he could sense my presence because he stopped what he was doing and gave me the most lust-filled gaze.
I immediately flushed bright red remembering my very wet dream and is if knowing what I was thinking he gave me a devilish smirk before looking back down at the paperwork. Why is this man getting to me like this. I try and Shake It Off and return to work.
Dom's POV
After last night I couldn't get Layla off my mind and her taste was so addicting.
Then I had a thought she was at a work party she might work here. "Kevin" I paged him into my office. I continued "does a Layla Smith work here?".
" Yes, she's my intern. Why do you ask? "
he replied.
"No reason, that'll be all" I told him trying to keep my excitement inside.
I will definitely see her today. I made sure to be in the conference room before anyone else.
I know I shouldn't be this excited to see her but she is my mate so I am more than excited.
There it is that Heavenly scent. I look up at her and think about last night how innocent and alluring she is.
Fuck!
I'm already in love with this woman. Then her cheeks turned bright red. At that moment I knew she was thinking about last night too.
She's so cute!
I suddenly remember I'm in a meeting so I looked down at my paperwork and get to work. Layla being here definitely didn't make it easy to concentrate.
Once the meeting was done, I called her over to talk. She started "I'm so so sorry about last night at the party I didn't mean of.... "
"STOP!.. "
"No need for that! " I interrupted her "have lunch with me?" .
She didn't hesitate and immediately said "yes ! "
"Good I will swing by and get you when I'm ready for lunch" I stated as I walk away smiling.
The wait until lunch was going to feel like for ever.
