Today is the day and kailangan ko ng magprepare for the Sci Damath competition.Kailangan kong galingan because this is for Sapphire.Ang aga kong nagising in-fairness.

"Good luck nak! Galingan mo",mommy said and kiss me on my forehead.

Dad sighed and utter,"Kaya mo yon,ikaw pa ba?Basta do your best.You may or you may not win me and your mommy will always be proud of you",he also kissed me on my forehead.

"Thank you guys, I love you both.",I hugged them.

They are so supportive.I am so lucky to have them both.Hinatid nila ko sa school.

Walking towards my room the grade 9 student greeted me,"Good morning ate,Galingan natin mamaya.Good luck!"

I greeted her back,"Good morning,Good luck and God Bless.Kitakits mamaya."

I am here now at our classroom.I seated on my chair when Reese went with me.

"Oiiii,kumusta pinagalitan ka ba kahapon?",he looked so worried."Nope,wala pa naman sila mom and dad non ei",I answered back."BTW,galingan mo mamaya",sabi niya sa akin."Waaaa, syempre.Thankyou!",I answered.

He's so supportive.He always cheer me up everytime.He's always for me.Ang swerte ng magiging girlfriend niya.

It'already 11:00 and I have 2 hours to be relaxed.Kinakabahan ako.Ah,oo pala bati na kami ni Harith.And yes he's courting me.

"Good morning sir,Excused po sana namin si Candy tsaka po si Brent may meeting po kasi yung ssg."

Yes we are part of SSG or Supreme Student Government.I am secretary and my bestie is grade-10 representative.We enjoyed serving our fellow students.We are one of the leader of this school.

"Candy and Brent,go!" sabi ni sir Jem.Our topic is so important it's all about research and I ak the leader of one group.Yes,we finished the introduction and we are now in RRL or Review Related Literature.We have a baby thesis and as a junior high school student we must gets it.

Me and Brent go out.

As I talked to ate Melody "Ate, about saan po ba yung meeting?Pwede po bang di na kami umattend?"

"Candy,you have to,bakit ba?Inexcuse naman namin kayo a"

"Pero ate,about thesis po kasi yung topic namin."

And si sir Jem ay napakastrict kaya maraming takot sa kaniya.

"Magkagroup ba kayo?",tanong ni ate Melody.

"Opo",sabi namin ni Brent.

"Tuturuan nalang namin kayo later",sabi niya.

We smiled.

She's like my sister.Umiiyak pa nga ko sa kaniya minsan e.

We are now at SSG room.

Ate Melody started the meeting.

"February is coming, may jowa na ba kayoooo?"

"Wala pa Pres. huhu",sagot ni Brent.

"Ate,seryoso please ang ganda ng topic namin sa math e, radicals yon", Rocel, the grade 9 student said.

"Waaaa,sorry.Okay seryoso,I ask our adviser to conduct a program and Mrs.Julie agreed.",Ate Melody sighed.

Ate April the Vice president ask a question "Whole month ba ng February tayo ang host?"

Ate Melody answered, " Actually Yup,but I suggest na hanggang 14 lang and 14 is the big event,that is if you all agreed?"

"Is this a Valentines Ball,president?",I asked.She nodded.

"Any suggestion guys,for activity para maprepare na",sabi niya ulit.

"Ate dapat po may match making!",Brent suggested.

"Nice Idea,"kuya John the treasurer said.

"Hindi ka pwede don.Ayaw naming magalit jowa mo!",sabi ni Ate April.

I just laughed and Brent pinched me.Gusto pa ng match making samantalang nanliligaw si Harvey.Hayst.

"Alam ko na, Jail booth?what do you think guys?",sabad ko.

"Nag-away ba kayo ha.Pero sige, okay lang ba guys?",sabi ni ate Melody.

Brent laughed and she looked like teary eyes because of laughing.Syempre para makabawi ako I pinched her too.

"Okay wait,may problema ba kahong dalawa sa partners niyo?",aksed by the Grade 7 representative.

"Wala kaming jowa!",sabay pa talaga kami ni Brent a.

Napasarap na yung usapan.Nagpapalitan ng ideas and so on.Hindi namin napansin yung oras and it's already 12:00.

"Okay guys,thankyou for cooperation ang gaganda ng ideas niyo.The meeting is adjourned.",sabi ni ate Melody.

"Good luck sa inyo later",kuya Noel added.

This is it guys.Ipinatawag na kami and the game started.

We are 5 sections in grade 10 pero 4 sections lang kaming nandito ngayon.

So let's wait for 10 minutes and pag wala pa sila let's start.

5 math teachers are here to facilitates us.Ang bilis lang dumaan ng 10 minutes.

Okay guys Sapphire Vs.Diamond and Amethyst Vs. Emerald sabi jung facilitator.Start.

Diamond representative Nathan is my friend at siya yung isa sa namprank sa akin.

To break down the nervousness I started to talk to him "Woi, galingan natin.",

"Of course",sabi niya nakatahimik lang siya and he looks serious.So I moved my chip and luckily I scored positive it's 20,000 + .Isusubtract kasi ata yung mga matitira kaya dapat pag-isipan mo yhng moves mo.

The game ended and I subtract it all my score is 27,895 while his score is 23,312.Woaaa sigurado na sa third place.

Suddenly the representative of Pearl entered.The facilitator make a pattern again and I am in waiting sigurado na sa secod place.Nanood muna ko sa mga ilang participants.

The player of Amethyst Jeric won.Ibig sabihin siya yung makakalaban ko.

Rocel and Luis wilk compete for grade 9 Sci-Damath championship.

The game started.He scored 23,000 + at the beginning.I was so nervous with that luckily I scored 49,000 +.Woa ang higpit ng laban.

The facilitator stay at my back and his smiling.The former adviser of Jeric was entered the room she was watching Luis and she went in our table and she talked to Jeric "Ang galing naman ni Jeric,kaya mo yan nak!"

Sanaol,sana nandito din si Mrs.Roses.There are 2 teachers cheering Jeric and yung isa doon adviser ni Luis while there's no cheering on me and I understand because they don't want me to won.Kaya kailangan kong mas galingan tutok naman yung facilitator kaya walang nangyayaring dayaan.

Nakita siguro ni Sir Roxy na nandoon yung dalawang teacher sa side ni Jeric.Kaya nagpunta rin siya doon sa amin para manood.At parang lumakas lalo yung loob ko.

Sir Roxy is my former co-adviser when I was on grade 7. The grade 9 game was finished and Rocel won.

Sa wakas natapos na rin yung game namin and we are now computing for our score.Nakatingin yung kasama ni sir na facilitator sa calculator ko at calculator ni Jeric.

The facilitator tell that mu score is 16,238.The facilitator on jeric side told that Jeric score was -89,973.

The facilitators congratulate me.While the two teacher on Jeric side just smiled at me.

"Magaling si Jeric pero matalino 'tong babae iniisip yung bawat move and puro positive score yung nilalagyan.",sabi ni sir Joel the facilitator head.

Sir Roxy hugged me and said "Ang galing naman ni Candy! Tatay Roxy is so proud of you",yes he acts liked father to us.

"Thank you sir",sabi ko.

"Ang galing naman ng mga estudyante ni Gemma,champions!",sabi ni sir Joel.

Ms.Gemma is my adviser when I was on Grade 9 and Rocel adviser now.

"Mana sa adviser sir",sabi naman ni Ma'am Gemma.

I open my phone and I saw Mrs.Roses chatted me.

Mrs.Roses:

Galingan mo nak!

I replied at her.

Candy:

Panalo tayo ma'am!?

It's already 6:00 pm na pala but I enjoyed.
