"Amber wake up, we're here" Brian nudges me a little, I slowly open my eyes and see the familiar woods that Lukas and I were hiding in not too long ago. I straighten myself in my seat, Brian hands me a bottled water. "Did you sleep well?" he asks me as I take the water from him. "Well enough" I reply then chug down half the bottle in 2 seconds. "How far are we from the pack house?" I ask the driver. "20 minutes" he replies. "Can I ask you something?" I ask Brian as I relax into my seat. "Sure" he smiles at me. "Why are you being so nice to me?" I ask him and I think my question caught him off guard cause he looked shocked and embarrassed.
