Chapter 29
"Ugh, my head. What happened?" I try opening my eyes but the light is so bright. I rub my head and feel a bump on my forehead, my head feels like I was hit by a truck. I force my eyes open, my vision is blurry but I can tell I'm outdoors. I try to focus until my vision is clear, I look around and notice all the trees. I can hear water about a mile away, I hear birds and other animals moving around. "How the hell did I get here?" I ask myself, I look down at myself and notice I'm naked. I try to remember what happened but when I try my head begins throbbing like a jackhammer is being used on my head. "Xander, what happened?" I try asking my wolf but he's not responding.
