**Elena's POV** I slid the pin from my hair with shaky fingers and bent close to the lock. My heartbeat pounded in my ears as the small metal piece clicked against the tumblers. One wrong sound and I would panic again. I forced my breath to stay quiet. When I heard the soft click, relief rushed through me. The door swung open. Good. One lock opened; one more to go. I hurried to the main cabin door and knelt on the floor, my knees aching. The high-security lock stared back at me, mocking me. I pushed the pin in any way, my hands trembling so much I could barely hold it. I tried to remember the angles Dante had shown me when we were kids. Back then, it was a game. We were just two kids sneaking into old sheds. Now, that "game" was the only thing between me and a nightmare. Nothing moved.
