Selene rolled out of bed excited for the day. She quickly dressed in her excercise gear and pulled her hair into a ponytail. Not even training could dampen her mood. She half ran to breakfast hopeful to see her new friends. Selene arrived at breakfast earlier than her norm it was barely cracked into. She didn't have to look far to see the small group of teens their laughter a beacon for her. Lilah was at the center of the group and waved to Selene when their eyes locked. "Morning!" Maxim greeted behind Selene. Selene almost leaped out of her skin the shriek causing the warriors next to them to leap into the defensive. Maxim chuckled motioning an all clear to them. The warriors relaxed back into breakfast. "Sorry, Selene. Didn't mean to scare you into the grave this morning." Maxim chuckled. " I just, want expecting it." Selene replied. Maxim grabbed two plates motioning to the food. Selene nodded, following him down the food line loading up their plates with food. He carried their plates to the table of teens, seeing them next to each other across from Lilah. The group ate and chatted, laughter alit the dining area. Selene almost hated finishing breakfast, but with training looming before lunch she finished up with the others. Lilah wanted to shop before training. Selene jumped at the opportunity. Lilah lead Selene to the boutique closest to the training grounds. To avoid being late and to spend as much time shopping as possible. They looked through dress after dress trying to find the perfect look for Selene's complexion. They found a blue Gray dress for Lilah. It went just past her knees and had a gauzy light feel while being just off her shoulders. Finally after trying on what felt like the whole store they found the perfect dress for Selene. It was just off white, a very pale Gray. The dress danced around her legs soft and light. It's soft straps looked like an under shirt for an off shoulder dress. It almost matched Lilah's dress but was lighter in shade to match Selene's complexion and longer to give her a princess feel. Selene had never felt so beautiful in her life, it was perfect. Lilah picked out some flower themed accessories to go with their dresses. Not to mention strappy sandals to complete the look. By the time they were done they had to run to training. Making it with seconds to spare they were all smiles. Lilah and Selene nudged each other behind the trainer's back. They made it through most of training before getting caught. Selene didn't mind having to run laps with Lilah they laughed and talked the entire time. Maxim was waiting for them smirking, the twinkle of knowing in his eyes. "Lilah, getting Selene in trouble already?" he joked. " Hey it was a 50-50 job here. She helped every step of the way." Lilah said with her hands on her hips. "I may... have assisted.... a little." Selene admitted. " A little!" Lilah cried lightly nudging Selene. They laughed and headed off to lunch. Lilah wanted to go to a new diner her treat of course. Selene was just happy to be spending time with them. Maxim was big into burgers, as long as they were made well. Selene didn't want to admit this was the first thing she eaten out of the pack dining room. It was heaven to her, she could have things swapped if she wanted or cooked to her request. The best part of the diner was the milkshakes. They were definitely Selene's new favourite. Maxim and Lilah chatted with her till dinner. Lilah insisted on treating again but now she wanted to take Selene to a steak House. It was a jog for them but worth it. The food smelled divine. They ordered quickly and talked all the way till it was brought out. They ate with abandon. Selene couldn't finish her meal it was so much but so good. Maxim was chuckling softly. " It's alot of food Selene. Don't make yourself sick." Maxim said. "I'm a growing teen this should be nothing." Selene replied pouting. "I'd be surprised if you ate all that." Lilah pitched in. "Ok fair." Selene relented. They took the leftovers with them and meandered around town. Their pack was strong and fairly big. Making their town well balanced with stores and restaurants. It was alot to see and way more walking then Selene expected. "You don't want to sleep over stuffed." Maxim said. "It's bad for our figures Selene." Lilah added. "It's just more than I was expecting." Selene admitted. " Here we'll make it fun." Maxim said. " How is walking fun?" Asked Selene. "We'll race" he replied. " No way. You're an alpha we have no chance." Lilah replied. " To be an Alpha to be. You have a... chance." Maxim stalled. " Ok GO!" Shouted Selene sprinting off. " NO FAIR!" Maxim shouted. The girls got a decent jump on the race. Maxim ran after them as they laughed and ran. Selene ran as fast as she could laughing every time Maxim got close. Lilah was trying hard to keep up with them laughing every time Selene vaulted over something. Or even better when she zipped around someone. They'd probably be chastised tomorrow but tonight they were having fun. Selene was fastly approaching the halfway house. She slowed her pace so she could say goodnight. Maxim ran straight into her and they both tumbled. Lilah couldn't stop in time and joined the chaos with a squeal. Selene couldn't stop laughing as she tried to untangle herself from Maxim and now Lilah. The laughter doubled as Maxim escaped only to fall on his butt. Lilah and Selene helped each other up. "Yeah, yeah laugh it up." Maxim said. " Well at least it wasn't your face." replied Lilah. " As fun as this is we need to turn in."Maxim retorted. They nodded in agreement said their goodbyes and went their separate ways. Selene quickly went to her room and flopped onto her bed the smile still plastered on her face as sleep claimed her. Selene dreamed of days spent with Lilah and Maxim. Running and playing. Laughing together and drinking milkshakes.
