Chapter 21

Karan's POV:

We are on the way for our meeting in the hotel. Meera switched the music on and is also looking into the laptop.

She has her messy bun, wareing formals, holding the pen in her mouth. I wish I am that pen right now. Heee....heee!

Glancing at her in the middle is now become a part of my driving. After the meeting we will go the Pari's school function. Meera made sure I took half day and completed my work keeping myself free in the evening.

Seriously this girl has changed the way of my lifestyle in just few days. What's happening to my mind and heart I can't guess. It's all happening like the first time when I met Pari.

"Karan, check this!" She said breaking the chain of my thoughts.

I looked at whatever she's showing and cleared her confusion. Suddenly a starn of hair fell on her face. My hands automatically went up to her face and put them at the back of her ear. She looked at me and smiled. I focused back on driving.

We reached at the hotel finally.

I parked the car and we came to the reception where Niroshi and another employee are standing.

"Hi guys good your on time".

Said Niroshini.

I just nodded at her so did Meera.

"Good morning sir". Said the other guy.

"Morning!". I replied with a stern face.

"Where is the fat frog?"

I asked Niroshini.

She laughed and said.

"On his way!".

"Have the investors arrived?"

Meera asked Niroshini.

"Nope they too are on the way.

It's only us who are on time".

Niroshini said in an annoyed tone.

Suddenly my phone rang, as I took it out of my pocket I saw it is Brat. Why is he calling now?

He knows this is office hours.

Maybe it's something important.

"Guys I'll be back! Give me 5min!".

I said and walked fast to the other side.

"Hello, tell me Brat!" I said in a low voice.

"Dude you got to come and check this! It's gonna be dam shocking to you. And I'm sure your going to be happy and pay me much more".

He said sounding overjoyed.

"Don't waste my time buddy, or else you know what I'm capable of". I warned him.

"I know, but this time it's really true. I've got a super clue".

He said in assurance.

"Fine I'll come later in the evening".

I said and hung up.

I don't know what he's got, I just hope it's something useful this time and I get hold of atlest one guy.

I came back and stood with them, by then Mr. Kumar had arrived and was as usual flirting with my wife. And she as usual smiling at him.

I just faked a smile at him, but when he saw me he stopped talking with Meera and started to ask dumb questions to Niroshini.

"Meera came and stood beside me". I just gave her a blank look.

"What's wrong? Why you look so tense?" She asked me softly.

"Non of your business!" I said casually.

I really get annoyed with her at times. She knows how that man is but no she will keep encouraging him and not try to avoid him.

"Karan, why do you behave like this suddenly?" She asked me sadly.

"Because you don't know how to behave with men like him".

I said only for her to hear.

"It's not my fault!". She said gritting her teeth.

"Ho, yeah it is never your fault. Your always right". I said scarstically and rolled my eyes.

"You know what? Actually it's never my fault". She said softly but I felt the pain in her voice.

Shit! Dammit... I didn't mean it that way. God! Ugh...... f**k me!!!!!

I truned and looked at her. She has tears in her eyes but controlled them. Lord what did I do? I mentally slapped myself.

I held her wrist slowly, but she moved and went stood beside Niroshini.

Shit! she's upset. Do I need to fix this now? I thought to myself.

'Yeah, you definitely need to Karan' My inner mind told me.

Then after sometime the investors came and our meeting started in the conference hall.

Ho and my wife nailed it, she was excellent at everything the investor were very happy.

Nice to say 'my wife'.....Hee...hee!

The whole time she didn't talk with me nor she even looked at me. After lunch the investor left and boss appreciated all of us specifically my wife.

I have thought once I tell the world that she's mine. I'm not allowing to work in this place particularly. And if this fat frog is the boss, then definitely a big NO! God how to handle this girl's anger......

"You need to face it for your whole life henceforth!". My inner mind told me which I agreed to fully.

Her phone rang and she picked up and was talking..... I guess it's her aunty. I glanced at her beautiful face and an witty idea pooped up my mind. I smiled within myself.
