Sasha tried not to think about Jasper every second of every day. Sometimes she succeeded, and sometimes she wondered if she’d put in the right amount of lemon zest or too much almond extract. No drinks came back, so she figured she hadn’t done too bad of a job. She wasn’t cleaning for Jasper that week, and the extra time in bed had been so luxurious she’d considered quitting. But the money was easy, especially when she got to kiss him before she left. He’d called and texted a few times, and his last one had said, I’m going to stay for a couple of extra days.
