ALEXANDER I was f*****g exhausted. I hadn’t slept more than three hours in the past few days and the exhaustion was finally starting to wear on me. The minute I left the hospital, I got a call that there was an incident at one of our sites. Some equipment was faulty and one of the workers was involved in a horrible accident. I’d been working overtime with the other directors, the lawyers and everyone in charge to make sure that this didn’t become a scandal. Every second we waited for the victim to get out of his coma felt like torture because if he died, his family had the right to sue us to oblivion.
