Chapter 5

I sighed, going out of my car and walking inside the entrance, it's almost midnight but oh well.

I walked to the clearing and sighed, staring into the sky.

Sophia hasn't contacted me yet or showed up and I haven't gone home yet, Dad must have company anyway.

I rolled my shoulders back before walking forward and out of the clearing, the forest is more beautiful while the moon's light seeps through the tree's leaves.

My feet steps on dry leaves making a crunching sound every step I make, I sometimes step on a branch, so while I'm walking it isn't really quiet.

The leaves crunching below me, the crickets singing, sometimes an owl would make a noise.

But then I heard another set of footsteps making me stop, but the footsteps didn't stop, it’s like coming towards me so I looked around to gasp.

A wolf!

I took a step back making it take a step towards me, Wait! Maybe this is my chance!

I took a picture of the wolf making it growl at me and pounce on me, I let out a loud shriek, echoing around the forest.

Then I'm on the ground, the wolf snarled at me, baring its fangs while saliva coated his fangs.

I took another picture making it growl lowly at me, "Okay! I'll stop!" I cried while letting go of the camera.

The wolf growled again and I looked at the wolf in fear.

This is it, I'm going to die, I'm going to die! I do not want to die like this!

I reached my hand towards a rock, holding it, but the wolf didn't notice my slight movement so I hit the wolf's head with a rock making it howl in pain and get off me.

I stood up and threw the rock at the wolf making it growl at me, blood dripping down from the side of his head.

Sweat coated my forehead, so I wiped it with the back of my palm.

I took deep breathes and closed my eyes.

Maybe this is a dream! Another nightmare! This is not real! I'm not in the forest, I'm at home, sleeping just wake up Jade!

I heard bones breaking and I snapped my eyes open to see the wolf starting to form like a human body.

I gasped.

But then shuffled for my camera and took a quick picture, I heard another growl making me squeak and I started to bolt.

Loud slaps of feet are heard behind me and I cried out and ran faster, clutching the camera to my chest.

Whatever happens I need this camera for the paper!

The wolf jumped on me making us fall down, the wolf on top, it growled making me whimper, Okay this is it.

My last words are... Ha! Can't prank me now Sophia!

But then another wolf tackled the wolf off me and I stood up, staring at the two trying to bite each others heads off.

Yeah, I'm not going to stay so they could both have a nice dinner and on the menu is: Me.

I stared one last time before running away, I ran and ran, I didn't look back. Why would I? If I look back I'll become those girls in horror movies that did that—dead.

I ran towards the entrance/exit of the forest and ran towards my car, my hands shook as I tried to put the keys to open the car, when I did I got in and closed my door when the wolf clawed on my window.

I shrieked and locked the car's door and window, the wolf pounded its head on my window, I put the key in the ignition, scared that the wolf might break the window and get to me.

I started driving away and when I looked at the rear view mirror that wolf isn't chasing me anymore so I heaved out a sigh.

I reached back to my house and I left the car outside the garage, I rushed inside and went towards the stairs and bolted up in my room, slamming it behind me and throwing my camera on the bed.

I sighed, wiping my sweaty palms on my pants.

I ran a hand through my hair, pacing around my room.

"Oh, my god I'm crazy! I'm like Amanda now! My dad's going to send me to a mental hospital and I'm going to stay there for life and possibly meet my husband there and we'll have a baby where they're going to take to an orphanage because we can't take care of a baby, I mean, we're not in our right minds..." I rambled.

I clutched my abdomen, suddenly feeling pain.

"And I'm a girl on my period and crazy," I mumbled while rushing to the bathroom.

I got the tampons inside my cabinet and did what I have to do because I'm a lady and I have lady parts.

Why don't the guys get the periods instead of girls?!

Why do we always have to get the pain? The cramps, carrying the baby, having to change our last name. Why don't the guys with d!cks don't get to do that huh?!

Oh my gosh, I really am crazy, my thoughts of werewolves drifted off to why guys don't get periods!

Why do I get my period on the craziest night of my life?!

I took a deep breath and went to the bathroom and took out my medical kit and took my inhaler, I placed it on my mouth and sprayed.

Inhale, Exhale.

I sighed, placing it back and took the slipping pills.

I went out of the bathroom and placed it on my nightstand and took my camera, I turned my laptop on and hook on the camera to the laptop.

I turned on the printer and printed the pictures I took.

I stared at them, the first is a blurry picture of the wolf, then the wolf close up, then the wolf while it's bones breaking and turning into... possibly... a human.

I laughed, throwing it on my desk.

"I really am crazy." I laughed, while going towards my bed and sitting down, I kicked off my shoes and went under the comforter.

I'm crazy...

Werewolves aren't real.

They're f*cking myths! sh!t that people made up because their famewh0res! They make up those bullsh!t for fame, for money, for f*cking drugs and lick the f**k!ng @sshole's d!cks!

I laughed, my laugh echoing around my room.

I pulled the comforter tightly against me, What if they know where I live? Will they steal my inhaler to let me die?

Oh my gosh, please steal the Nutella not my inhaler (also my MnM's)

I took the bottle of sleeping pills and took out two, placing it in my mouth and swallowing.

I rocked back and forth on my bed and suddenly, slowly fell into sleep.

I woke up with a jolt, sweat coating the back of my neck and my back.

I took off my shirt and sighed when the air conditioned air hit my sweaty back.

I glanced at the clock to find it on six in the morning.

I stood up from my bed and walked towards my window, opening it, letting the fresh air greet my face.

I went to my desk to shut down my laptop and printer, I didn't shut it down last night.

What even happened last night?

I froze and reached my hand towards the pictures.

The werewolf!

I placed a hand on my chest, wheezing in and out, I shuffled to my bathroom and took out the kit, taking my inhaler and using it to fix what's happening to me.

I placed it back and sat down on the cold tiled floor of the bathroom.

Everything that happened... Is real?

I leaned my head on the wall and closed my eyes. No... it was all an illusion! Those are just pictures! WEREWOLVES AREN'T REAL!

I clutched my hair and rocked back and forth, I hummed to the theme song of saw and grinned.

I stood up and removed my pants and undergarments, I stepped inside the shower and turned it on, the warm water hitting my face and soaking my hair and body.

I scrubbed my scalp with my mint shampoo and used my body wash.

I stepped out and dried myself with a towel and went out of the bathroom and to my closet.

I wore a Gray hoodie and a black skater skirt that stopped above the knees and my black converse.

I went to my vanity table and brushed my hair, I placed it in a pony tail and I wore my glasses.

I got my bag and walked out of my room.

I ran down the stairs and rushed into the dining room, where my father is eating breakfast.

I don't want to eat with him but I have to, I didn't eat breakfast or dinner yesterday and I don't want to get sick because of that.

I sat at the farthest seat from my father and waited for a maid to serve my breakfast.

When someone served my breakfast, I started eating.

"Where were you last night?" my father asked while taking a sip of his coffee and finished his food, throwing his napkin.

I shrugged, not answering him and eating my bacon.

He sighed, massaging his temples, "Tell me where you were last night, Jade Emily." he told me and I sighed, standing up and taking my bag, I walked out of the dining room and grumbled while going to the garage.

I went to my truck and got my keys, I placed the key in the ignition and drove out of the garage and our property.

When I reached the school I parked on my regular parking space and got out, I looked around the parking lot before walking towards the school's front doors.

I went to my locker and opened it for confetti to slap on my face and a picture of

Nicholas Kim Cage covered my locker.

I stared at it dumbfounded, many people stared at me so I tore the picture to find another picture of Marilyn Monroe, I sighed and tore the picture to shriek.

It was a picture of Annabel so it startled me but I still tore it and threw it aside.

I went to class to find that Sophia's not in her seat so I sat down on my chair blue and green slime spilled on top of my head.

I gasped, standing up, the people around me laughed, some stared and I shook my head leaving the classroom and going to the girl's bathroom.

When I reached the bathroom, I removed my hair in the pony tail and washed it, my hair is soaking wet now so I brushed it with my hands and put it in a messy bun.

I just wiped off the remaining goo on my clothes with my hands, it'll dry out later.

I was about to leave the bathroom but I couldn't seem to open it, I tried opening it again but it was locked.

I shook my head, "Good one, Sophia." I laughed.
