Isla clears her throat and I stop to roll my eyes
“Yes I was giving it to both of you because you both have no idea how smart you both are and I’m willing to support you in your dream”
“And I have already added extra men and women to patrols for the next few days and extended our territory, giving your pack a few days to get back settled in to give them time to grieve. Unfortunately all the other bodies were burned but we are going to have a memorial for them tonight. We also took some ashes from where your people were burned and are having it put into a large urn that will be sealed and under it will be a concrete block with all the names of those that died. We will have it in the same area that they were burned in. That should give us enough room to have a bench made so people can visit”
Ailm wipes her face and nods
“That sounds perfect.. um what time is the cremation? I need to shower”
I can feel her distress, I grab her hips to steady her on her feet. The thought of all of them dying is hurting her big time.
“Go on ahead honey, you have around 2 hours”
She turns to me so I stand up, Isla and Jake follow us out, when we are out of earshot she turns in my arms and cries. “Nah I trust you, both of you plus if you pull it off I’ll just claim on the insurance. Just don’t get caught ok?”

“I’m scared to go to there room”
Ailm cries harder, that sets Isla off and both of them set me off.
“We can do it together, the four of us or the 2 of you whatever you prefer”
I say to them both, wiping my own face. I hated seeing her in so much pain, it wasn’t fair and it pissed me off.
“Maybe we can wait, sleep in the guest rooms for now. Our clothes and weed are in our room anyway”
She says to Isla
“Yeah, I’ll take our room, you can have the other and we can deal with their rooms tomorrow”
We finish our smoke then Ailm takes me to her and Islas room, I have to admit I’m a little excited to see it and it’s like nothing I ever expected. The walls were black, the room was halved, on one side Ailms name was in capital letters in pink and the same was done on Islas side. They had a large king size beds each and aiims wall had so many bookshelves full of books it actually surprised me a little. On the other wall were trophies, biking championships, motocross championships, rally’s. The list goes on and on starting when she was only 8. I grin proudly at all her achievements. Then there was a plaque on the wall full of different keys, around 20 of them.
“What are these for?”
“Bikes, cars, some I won in competition, some I bought myself and others were passed down to me from mum and dad and Christmas gifts etc”
She lifts a magazine off the table and hands it to me. It’s a rolling stones magazine and my eyes must goggle out of my head when I see her mum on the cover. “How come you are in this?”
“We won a series of competition, it was meant to just be an article but then they found our youtube channel and it ended up as a whole big thing it was pretty cool”

“All of our winners' photos are in the hall. My mum loves pictures so she hung a bunch. It’s about the only time I ever felt like she was proud of me when I pulled off a new trick or entered a competition, plus it would drain some of my energy getting prepared for them and that would mean I behaved better”
