I am a friend of Steve's from high school days, and I have been working with him for the last two years in his company in Paris. I knew him as a friend as well as a boss, he is sincere and focused towards his work. He's not like usual spoiled rich grown-ups. He is far more mature than his age maybe because he spent his most of time working for his family, career and his empire, these things are most important to him, and he is also caring for his friends.
I only saw him dating once when he was in the final year of high school. That girl was the famous cheerleader of our football team and being the main player of team we knew almost every hot girl in high school. At first, he was not interested in her, but after spending some time he started liking her company. The dated only for 3 months when he gets to know about one of her friend who had her recording that she's only interested in him because he is from the powerful background. He dumped her. After that many girls approached him but being Steve Miller he never dated any of that girl as He has God's gift that he already understands what the girls are roaming around for.
We are in India working on our healthcare and education project, he wants to build a hospital and education centre with recent technology and every facility. We were in the meeting where Steve was checking the progress report. He trusts me with his work in India as this is my home country. But still, he is my boss and I always appreciate his suggestion. But today he looks quite tired after meeting.
He asked me to go with him for shopping and coffee to nearby R-city mall and I accept his offer as his the one who is going to pay for the treat, I know it sounds childish but still, we love to do this kind of thing, it makes us feel young.
We drove in his black Bugatti veryon who is sexier than any women out there, as we parked several eyes were freeze towards us. I know I am a fine-looking man and my friend Steve being a man is extremely handsome and gorgeous with black hairs and green eyes. He has strong Aura which attracts everyone's eyes towards him.
We entered inside Mall, he was following me and all of sudden due to hurry he bumped into a woman, she looks little lost and mashed up but what amazed me most is my friend Steve who froze at the same spot and his eyes following every moment of that girl. She said sorry to him without looking at him may that caught his attention, No but I was wrong it seems like he was ogling on her and by the look of his face one can say that we were trying to capture her every single detail of that girl. Indeed she was beautiful in my eyes but in his eyes, I can sense more than admiration.
This incident shocked me plus give me little hope for him because I know him for a very long time and he never stares at anyone like this before, If he was alone he would have eaten that poor girl alive.
I try to get his attention by saying stop staring that girl.... simply teasing him. And as being a gentleman from quite a long time and while living with his saint-like image (focused on work without involving in anything bad) he changed that subject by plastering emotionless face towards me.
Finally, he headed towards a branded shop and I simply follow him there. After completing our shopping, we went straight to Starbucks and ordered two Caffe late and few snacks of his choice. I want to sit in the middle table from where we can easily go out after finishing our coffee but My dear friend has something else in his mind he drags me towards the last corner table, where I saw same similar face who bumped in him.
I smirked towards my best friend as I know finally he found someone who can easily cloud his mind and told him " Dude seriously, that's why you pull me here ???" I knew one thing for sure that he is not going to accept this sooner, and the same thing happens he just gave me a lame excuse for sitting at that place.
For testing him I just turn back and told him that she's crying and jackpot finally he speaks about her which got my attention and I smile internally that I have some work to do for my best friend and I smirked on my thoughts and inner self for being a smart ass.
He looked amused, sad, angry and shock at the same time as she was crying in Starbucks while having her coffee and eating her snacks, it seems like she doesn't give damn about anyone.
Because of all the sudden emotion inside him, he looks confused And being a nosy person I fire back
"Yeah, Steveee boy and you told me that you don't even understand what I am talking about look at yourself huh huh". I can sense that for the first time he's not thinking about that girl as a gold digger he's showing interest in someone and he is frustrated because of his action and the way his body was reacting towards her.
Both the girls left Starbucks before us the other girl with her looks familiar to me but for some reason, my mind was consumed with thoughts related to my best friend so I just ignore that girl.
And my best was again lost in his thoughts maybe he was thinking of that mystery girl, I just hope that I will find every detail about her so that my friend can stop being a saint and enjoy his life with the girl who can change him.
For the rest of the ride, we both were quit, I gave him space so that he can clear his mind and think positively towards it.
He drops me at my apartment and headed towards his apartment by saying goodbye to me.
I was in my bed still thinking about today's incident, he seems lost from the moment he saw her and it is good for him that finally he is attracted towards someone, In the morning I have to do one thing to investigate about that girl.
I secretly click her photo so that I can search her on social media by her name, I can further get her details for my best friend, I am acting like a Cupid for Steve, yes why not he work like a robot day and night, He also wants someone to share his moments, day and night.
I also send that photo to him so that he can spend his night thinking of his mystery girl. He didn't reply anything but I know we must be happy as well as pissed of because of me.
