The forest was earily quiet, as though it, too, was holding its breath. Even the wind seemed to hesitate, weaving between the trees in slow, cautious strokes. Glosh crouched on the edge of the cliff, the moonlight glancing off her pale hair, illuminating her face in ghostly silver.
