Chapter 8The first thing I did after leaving Will’s lodging just after dawn was go to Whitehall to see if my Lord Salisbury needed my help. On my way through the corridors, I took bread and milk from the kitchen and ate and drank as I walked through the halls and up the staircase to his chamber.
