So we're sittin' here gettin' high at four in the mornin'. And as we puff, puff, passin'...it hit me, I want her to meet my mama. We been together for two months, but known each other for four. She's a cool chick. I really like her. She would be the second girl I ever took to meet my mama. My mama ain't really like the first girl all that much. My mama is crazy. She a thug. She don't bite her tongue for NOBODY! If she don't like you, best believe she gon' tell ya to yo face. She ain't gon' care if she hurt yo feelings or not. She ain't like my first girl cause she said she ain't trust her and because she was sneaky. She wasn't lyin' neither. But she gon' like Mariah. Mariah just got good energy.

"I'm sorry, Aug. What did you say?.."

"I want you to meet my mama."

"Uhhhhh...really?"

"Uhhhhh yea"

"You sure? Cause ya know we can wait..."

She was talkin' really fast. Almost to the point where her Spanish accent came out.

"Calm down. I told her about you. She even agreed to meet you."

"So she know Imma stripper?!"

"Nah. When you meet her, I want you to tell her so she can hear yo reason about why you do it."

"What if she don't like me?" She asked sounding worried.

I pull her close to me and rub her back.

"Babe, breathe."

She exhales and I kiss her nose.

"She gon' like you. You give off good energy and she gon' feel that."

"'Iight. So when do I meet her?"

She ain't gon' like this. Time for her to freak out...

"Ummmm....tomorrow"

"What?! You playin' right?!"

She starts talkin' really fast except in Spanish....

"Aye! Calm down!"

I put my hands over her mouth so she can shut up.

"She wants us over for dinner tomorrow at eight. And cut out that Spanish s**t. Ion understand not a damn word you is sayin'. I. SPEAK. ENGLISH. 'Iight?"

She nods her head cause she can't talk with my hand over her mouth.

"You 'iight now?" I asked moving my hand

"Yea. Can I go to sleep now?"

"*laughs* Yea. We both can."
