Scarlett’s POV
As I walked down the hall to my office, I was still trying to cool down from all the chaos in my mind. My heart was heavy, and I think my face showed too much of how I felt. I was still tense from my fight with Alex, and every step made me think of the kiss that was still burning on my lips.
Sienna was there when I walked out of the office. My twin sister, the perfect, favorite person of everyone. The way she stood and smiled while waiting outside my office made me feel even more out of place.
As soon as she saw me, her eyes got narrow. "Scarlett? Is something wrong?" she asked with her head tilted. "You look like you've been crying."
