The burner phone in my pocket vibrated, a harsh reminder of the world beyond the flames. I ducked into a shadowy alley, the acrid smell of smoke still clinging to my clothes. "Speak," I growled, my voice raw from the heat and ash. "They're moving," the voice on the other end rasped. The Terekovs. A big shipment is coming in through Red Hook tonight."
