Chapter 14 – After Midnight
It was almost eleven at night.
By half past twelve, sleep still refused to come to Krish. The memories of his meeting with Vanshika continued to wander through his heart and mind. He kept wondering whether he would ever meet that mysterious girl again.
When she had been sitting quietly, looking at the sea, he’d had the perfect chance to take a photo of her on his phone but he hadn’t. Now he cursed himself for that missed moment. He tried to calm his restless thoughts, but failed.
