Chapter 20 – Between Questions And Silence
Krish and Vanshika sat together on a bench at the far end of the garden, quietly watching the sea while talking. The waves moved rhythmically, their sound blending into the silence of the night. Krish was painfully aware that he had very little time, yet far too many questions. Somewhere between the waiting, the silence, and the stolen glances, he had begun to like Vanshika deeply.
He was now struggling with one thought, How do I confess what I feel?
Vanshika felt like a book filled with mysteries, a book written in a language Krish was still learning to read. The more he tried to understand her, the more difficult she became. Even after spending time with her, Krish couldn’t tell whether Vanshika felt anything for him at all.
