"Good afternoon, maam" I greeted Sadie's grandmother when I went in her room in the hospital.
She immediately stood up to welcome me. Sadie also looked at me as I came in. I gave her a smile.
"I brought you some lunch" I said and gave Sadie's grandmother the food that I bought.
"Thank you so much, young lady. Are you here to visit Sadie?" she asked. I nodded.
"Thank goodness. She's been waiting for you since this morning" she said. I smiled and looked at Sadie. She looked away with a shy expression on her face.
"Sadie, would you like to take a walk with me?" I asked her. She looked at me and at her grandma.
"May I take Sadie for a walk, maam?" I asked permission. Her grandma nodded.
