Chapter FourJennifer Mac Manus woke up that Sunday morning, a few hours after Antrim County had been stunned by the double homicide at the Merchant Hotel. She was puffing on her Yachtsman cigarette, preparing herself for the task at hand. She had been held captive for nine days, and though there was a nationwide search in progress she had not seen a sign of rescuers in the vicinity. She was being held in a farmhouse in Portmuck outside Larne, and her abductors left only to pick up supplies or exchange messages in town.
