Chapter EightDelmore Merrick, Eddie Mulvihill and Joe Emer walked into the abandoned warehouse in Armagh again, two hours after they had left. They had just suffered a traumatic experience in this very place and had no desire to have come back. Only the phone call that persuaded them was reason for the three older men, all in their sixties, to have turned their Volvo around and taken this long drive once again.
They drew their pistols though seeing no sight of any vehicles on the property. They knew there might be someone parked out back but did not want to drive into an ambush. They figured they would see if there was any sign of Baxter Cody or his men. If Cody was not here they would drive back into South Armagh and try to contact the Mid-Ulster Brigade in nearby Portadown. Ed Doherty h
