Reiley POV
I opened the door only to find my wife’s best friend and her fiancé standing there.
“Hey, guys…” I greeted them
Moved away from the door so that they might enter…
“Hey, Reiley!”
“Hey Man…”
They both said in unison. Vanessa smiled at me and I returned the same smile.
“Let me get your coats…” I moved behind Vanessa and took her coat and Max gave me his.
“REILEY…” mom yelled
This old woman never stops with her yelling… every day all day! How she never yells at Kate is surprising. Like mom becomes a total sweetheart with her!
I just rolled my eyes and looked at Kate’s guests and said, “Kate is this way.”
They followed me and as soon as mom saw them her face light up…and that could only mean one thing…the woman is about to embarrass me.
