THE DEVILS SON

chapter two

The king sat in his office scared to lose his wife. He had neglected her for the whole time of her pregnancy drowning him self in liquor. he regret what he had done. punishing him self for using his wife, his queen, the mother of all her children except that thing.

he was scared for her, she could lose her life because of that thing she had been carrying for nine months. he was scared what would become of him if he lost her to that thing. scared to lose the love of his life yet again scared to face her. he hadn't realized that tears were streaming down his face. tasting the salty liquid, he remembered how things went down the wrong path.

.......[ flash back ]....

father..? how are you feeling?.. he asked standing amidst his 2 brothers and sisters.

"..... I..I.. don't...have...time...left my...*coughs*..my boy..." his father said no his death bed.

" you..have to fight to know who will be crowned king when am gone....am sorry my son's that you ....have come to this......but.....I have failed to choose one from you three."

" sorry that it has come to this my son's...but promise me to protect your sisters from this mess I have made" his father said.

we promise father...they said all together.

as they were all in there chambers preparing, he had a knock on the door." come in" he said looking out from the walking closet.

entered a handsome man fit for royalty dressed in a guards uniform."your highness I have come to assist you with your battle" said the guard.

And how will a mere guard help a prince with his fight with his own brothers?

"I have come to make you a deal your highness"said the guard looking down ashamed of him self

And what will I gain from this deal guard? he asked in a very angry and intimidating voice.

" you will get the power you deserve and be crowned king of Beazion your highness" answered the guard in a low voice scared for his life. A loud and scary laugh was erupted from the prince's chambers. And what would I offer you then guard? he asked in a more intimidating voice. "You your highness will allow me sleep with your soon to be wife and she will bare me a child your highness" he answered with a curtsey.

angry strides and a loud bang to the wall was heard as the guard was thrown hitting the wall with force. "think about it my prince and when you need me,come to the basement of the castle and please come alone" said the guard as he bow down to show respect for the prince after making his way out of his room.

Prince Rumus was left confused yet angry at the courage of the young guard.
