"How are you so good at this?" Dylan asked by the 15th time he lost to me in Tekken.
"Video games are kind of my life once upon a time." I opened a bottle of cola.
"Are you sure you don't mind me crashing here for a couple of days?" I asked him again.
"Erin, it's no trouble, really." Dylan reassured.
"What about your parents?" I asked.
"They're kind of uptight and really boring people which is why I don't bring any friends home but they'll deal." His smile lit up the entire room.
"Can I call you sunshine?" I asked him pretty seriously.
"Are you high on pizza?" Dylan chuckled.
"It's just that... you're a real friend." I smiled at him.
