We stayed in that room until I was ready to leave, needing help finding my feet, my husband pulled me up. The entire time Aspen held me, saying just how much I meant to him, how proud he was, and how incredibly sorry he was that I had witnessed my mother the way I had. As I stood I took notice of how he looked at the garnet stain on the sheet.  "We will ask the lord of house brightly if you can see where her remains are buried love." He said as he held me once again. I inhaled his strong scent, pine and hay, and I instantly felt at ease.  "Thank you Aspen." I said into his strong chest.  "I would do anything for you." In that moment the strongest feeling came over me, washing away every doubt I ever had. I took Aspen's right hand in my left and we left the old house that no longer looke
