"Now you pay for your sins." I said to the fat man. After a total three hours of rest, Aspen and I got out of bed and prepared ourselves to send Roeger off. He was sitting in his caged cart with a dark horse attached to the front, ready to pull him to mount Titus. He was glaring at me as I spoke to him, his yellow and black teeth showing.
"I should have killed you, Rose." He growled. I placed my hand on Aspen's arm as he reached for his sword.
"Don't give him the quick easy death he pines for. Let him suffer." I said emotionlessly. Aspen took his hand from his pommel and pulled me into his chest. I laid my head on him watching happily as horses pulled Roeger to his ultimate death.
