Aidan’s POV “What is going on here?” Neither of them answered immediately. Vanessa was the first to turn toward me. The sweet smile she had been wearing moments ago returned so effortlessly that, if I hadn’t walked in when I did, I would have believed nothing was wrong. “There you are.” She smiled. “I was beginning to think you’d changed your mind about dinner.” My eyes drifted past her to Maya.
