Chapter 16 go find her

Alpha Cole’s P.O.V

  These girls were pissing me off, why couldn't they just follow simple orders? I knew what I wanted and they would have to deal with it, whether they liked it or not. All there bitching and moaning was pissing me off even more and I’d had enough.

  “SHUT THE f**k UP!!! YOU HAVE THREE DAYS TO FIND OUT WHERE SHE IS AND COME BACK TO TELL ME!! IF YOU COME BACK AND YOU CAN'T FIND HER THERE WILL BE HELL TO PAY!! IS THAT CLEAR!!!” I screamed and they both froze in fear, nervously gulping as they looked at me.

  “Yes Alpha, we will start our search tonight. That's the best time to find someone, at night. If she is still out there, we’ll find her.” Ripley quickly replied and I nodded.

  “If she is then you had better find her and if she isn't then you better let me know. Is that clear?” I said and they both quickly nodded.

  “Now get the f**k out of my office.” I ordered, using my Alpha tone and they hurried out of my office, but they were so scared that they didn't bother to shut the door behind them. Hell they didn't even notice that they had run past Nikki, the she-cat I dragged into my office the other night.

  Nikki’s P.O.V

  “Well Nikki, I have your test results back and I’m pleased to say that you are not sick, you're pregnant. So, who's the lucky man?” Doctor Piper said, shocking me. I shook my head and took the results from him.

  “Please, don't say a word about this until I tell the father.” I replied and doctor Piper looked stunned, but she still nodded.

  “Alright, if that's what you want then I won't say a word.” Doctor Piper said and I thanked her, grateful for her silence. I walked out of the pack hospital and straight to the pack house where I saw Lovey and Ripley run out of the Alpha Cole’s office like a bat out of hell. They were so scared that they didn't even notice me as they ran past me. I waited and made sure they were upstairs before going to Alpha Cole’s office and knocking on the already open door. He didn't answer straight away and I could feel his angry aura, but then I heard him say enter, so I walked in and shut the door behind me. As soon as he saw it was me he smirked, making me roll my eyes.

  “You came back for more? I think I can go more rounds, it's been a few days, where have you been?” Cole asked and I sighed. I walked over to him and handed him the test results. He looked at them and then back at me.

  “Read this dumbass.” I said and he gave me a stern look, before reading the results and his eyes went wide when he saw what it said.

  “But I used a condom….” He said and I rolled my eyes. He really was a dumbass.

  “If you recall it broke, in fact it broke several times and it's definitely yours because you're the only one I have been with. I tried to tell you I was waiting for my mate, but you wouldn't listen and you didn't care, you took my virginity anyway.” I replied and he looked stunned.

  “Was I really your first? I’m honoured and now you’re carrying my kit.” He said and looked at my stomach, reaching his hand forward.

  “Can I?” He asked and I nodded. He placed his hand on my belly, looking at it carefully.

  “You can't feel anything yet, it's only a few days old, but I came here to ask you what you want me to do, I know I can go some….” I started to say, but he cut me off.

  “You’re keeping the baby and you will be my mate, you’re going to be Luna of this pack. As far as anyone else is concerned we’ve been mates for a while, we have only mated a few days ago and you became pregnant right away. I’ll hide your scent from your real mate and after the baby reaches sixteen I’ll reject you and then you can go straight to your real mate.” He said and I nodded, but I was confused.

  “How are you going to hide my scent from him?” I asked, needing to clear all of this up before we went any further with his plan.

  Alpha Cole’s P.O.V

  “I have a spray that lasts for about a month and then you will have to spray it again.” I said and then I thought of Lovey and Ripley, how I had sent them looking for that human b***h. Oh well, it serves them right, besides they need a good workout. I thought to myself and chuckled.

  “It's going to be okay, unless you have another plan that is.” I asked and she still looked unsure.

  “I don’t want to hide from my mate, how about I go away for a while and say that I’m going to visit family from another pack. When I have the baby I’ll come back and I can say that I found it in the woods, then you can take it in as yours.” Nikki replied and I really didn't like this plan.

  “That sounds like a plan, but I don't want you leaving with my child. You can stay in my room where no one will see you. I’ll bring you food, water and whatever else you need up, then when you have the baby we can wait a few months and then at night we’ll go out and you can act like you are returning to the pack.” I suggested, not wanting my child far away from me, but she rolled her eyes. What is it with the women here rolling their eyes at me? 

  “That's the stupidest idea I've ever heard. Fine, I’ll be your so-called mate, I’ll use your spray and when this child is sixteen you will reject me and I’ll find my true mate. Is that a deal?” Nikki said and I nodded.

  “Deal, but I’m not sleeping on the floor.” I replied, trying to negotiate the terms of this deal. Like hell was I sleeping on the floor in my own room.

  “Oh, that's fine, you can sleep on the couch and if anyone knocks then you can jump in the bed.” Nikki said and I sighed.

  “Agh….you women, can I ever win.” I said and she laughed. She actually laughed at me, I’m supposed to be the Alpha here and she is laughing at me, this is just great.

  “No, you can't.” Nikki replied and it was a rhetorical question, but she still answered it.

  “Come on, let's make the announcement, you're going to be showing in a few weeks, so we have to get this plan into action and fast.” I said, wanting to get this over and done with.

  “I need everyone in the pack to meet outside the pack house, right now.” I said, mind-linking everyone in the pack, well almost everyone. I decided to let Lovey and Ripley carry on what they were doing as punishment for making me wait and talking back to me. I took the spray out of my desk and sprayed it all over Nikki before going outside.

  Nikki’s P.O.V

  I decided that from now on I wasn't going to call him Alpha Cole, I was just going to call him Cole, after all there was no need for formalities when we had already seen each other naked and I was having his kit. He sprayed this stuff on me and even I couldn't smell my own scent, what the hell was that spray made of? I thought as we walked outside and I saw that everyone was already waiting for us. Cole cleared his throat and everyone went silent, turning to face us.

  “Everyone, I know that this is sudden news, but I want you all to know that I have found my mate, my Luna. we only mated a few days ago and she is now pregnant, so I want you all to meet your new Luna, Nikki.” Cole announced and I stood beside him, holding his hand and making it look like we were mates. A spark shot through my hand and all the way up my arm, making me flinch at the contact. What the hell? I thought, looking at Cole and I knew that he felt it too by the look on his face.

  “Good Goddess, are you truly my mate?” Cole asked me through gritted teeth. I looked at the time and saw that it was now one minute past midnight, it was officially my eighteenth birthday and the time when I would find my real mate. Cole looked at the time and his mouth dropped open in shock when he realised what was happening.
