Chapter Two

Two days later, Crown Princess, Royal Prince Relles, Royal Princess Nimhe, Royal Princess Mírida Sabia, Royal Prince Teno-Kami, Royal Prince Jirin, and myself were gathered in the Royal Courtyard. Royal Mother had gathered all of us to announce to our up coming marriages. Crown Princess Rosephia and myself knew about our marriages. Royal Princess Nimhe and Royal Princess Mírida knew about Royal Princess Nimhe marriage from their father.

They had only been three Royal concubines that had been offered the option to leave the the services as a Royal concubine. One Yoong Jinwook, he went off and found a wife in another country. Second was Royal Steward Eladrin. Royal Steward loved his daughters the twins. He was the only one of the royal concubines who didn’t stay a concubines but wanted to stay in service and near his children.

The third was Royal concubine Malyrgirth Jaras Cruic, my own father. He was also the father to my third eldest sister Eliassia Shufeng. One younger sister but three more siblings before the triples, Royal Princess Salnea Jiwoon. The triplets were the last set of children Royal Mother had Royal Sister Celere Kyuki, Royal Princes’ Kalinen Hihiko and Keilyn Hichi.

Each Royal concubine did something special to choose to stay or go have a life away from the Palace. Yoong Jinwook was once a special guard to keep the Royal Mother safe. She found him handsome when she two years into being the Royal Mother. Royal Mother had a son Royal Prince Yoong Younghoon two years later. When Royal brother was five, he and Royal mother were kidnapped and Yoong Jinwook saved them.

Royal Steward had the twins Royal Princess’ and with his magic he solve a money crisis four years ago. Royal concubine Malyrgirth Jaras Cruic gave Royal Mother the first Royal triplets in all of Caregivern Kingdom history. Royal concubine Malyrgirth being in love with Royal Mother stayed by her side even though he was not the Royal Prince Consort.

As we the Royal Siblings stood outside the Royal Hall waiting. Royal Princess Nimhe nudged Royal Princess Mírida her twin. “ you need to go the marriage has been thrust upon me not you” concern coating Royal Princess Nimhe’s voice. Royal Princess Mírida shook her head and hissed, “ You can’t Royal Sister, what about Moong Tsumikoto. He loves you and you love him. I’ll take your place and then have father ask to let Tsumikoto marry you?” “That will never work because once they find out it’s me we will be forced to switch back. Marry Tsumikoto for me. Marrying Noble Xarkisas it is my purpose.” hissed back Royal Princess Nimhe

I quietly move near the twins and whispered, “ Don’t switch because marrying Noble Xarkisas you won’t have to leave, he will just be your Royal Consort. Just wait six months and you and your lover Tsumikoto can marry as your concubine.” Royal Sister Nimhe blushed, realizing they had been caught and over heard. Royal Sister Nimhe recovered first and everything I started started to make sense. With a smile Royal Sister Nimhe smiled and whispered, “thank you, Royal Sister Maelorian.”

I smiled at Royal Sister Nimhe, but for a spit second I noticed Royal Sister Mírida was angry. Then just as quickly as I saw it, it was gone. Making me wonder if I’ve imagined it. Then both sisters had me by each a hand and whispering their thanks. Smiling sweetly I slowly pulled away to go back behind the Crown Princess as I headed the Royal Hall doors beginning to open.

Waiting the five minutes and making sure I’m where I’m supposed to be. “Come in Crown Princess, Royal Princess’ and Royal Princes.” bellowed Royal Steward Eladrin. Everyone gathered around behind me as I stood five feet behind the Crown Princess who lead them all inside and up to were they all should stand. All but Crown Princess Rosephia who will always be in the front and head of the group, the rest of my Royal Siblings formed a half circle looking like a crescent moon behind Crown Princess with me as the center directly behind the Crown Princess.

After they all were in position Royal Mother cleared her throat, “My children, I called you all to discuss each one of you upcoming marriages. I could see the surprises on the rest of her Royal Siblings faces. Then I noticed Royal Sister Mírida had followed us in and was positioned in with the group. “What is she up too,” I thought as I watched her.

“The dates are set and your Royal Prince Consorts were hand picked for each one of you Royal Princess’. Same for each of you Royal Princes your Princess’ Consorts. Except for my Royal Prince Teno-kami you will actually be a King when you marry and your Consort will be your Queen. Alright when Royal Steward Eladrin calls your name a servant will hand you the documents about your future Consort and customs they are accustom too.” stated Royal Mother

“Yes, Royal Mother,” we all said in unison. Clearing his throat Royal Steward began, “ Crown Princess Rosephia, High Lord Elkorn. From Whispering Riversong Forest, Genosha Kingdom.” Royal Steward looked at a servant in front and nodded. The servant walked up to Crown Princess Rosephia holding out the document to the Crown Princess. Crown Princess Rosephia took the document from the servant.

“Royal Prince Teno-Kami, Crown Princess Dinadnael Jhessail. From Foundeven, Ofirnia Kingdom.” said Royal Steward as a servant walked over to Royal Prince Teno-Kami and extended the document with their hand open to Royal Prince Teno-Kami. After Royal Prince Teno-Kami took the extended document, the servant moved back to her position.

“Royal Princess Nimhe, Noble Dartley Xarkisas. From Malyr, Miria Kingdom.” stated Royal Steward, as another servant went to move but didn’t know which twin was Royal Princess Nimhe. He was about to look to Royal Steward for help when a Royal Princess to the left raised her hand, Royal Princess Mírida, but before our actual Royal Princess Nimhe could do anything. Both Royal sister Nimhe and myself were shocked that Royal Sister Mírida would pretend to be her twin. The servant rushed over and lifted the document to Royal Princess Mírida. Then the servant went back to his position.

“Royal Prince Jirin, Princess Mikorisa from The Arendinens, Carda Kingdom.” said Royal Steward, then another servant moved towards Royal Prince Jirin with the document. After the document is given, the servant moved back to her position. “Royal Prince Relles, Princess Sapphirena from Deepannion, Rivis Kingdom.” stated again Royal Steward as another servant rushed forward. Royal Steward cleared his throat and the servant girl revised her position and walked in the normal manner appropriately in front of anyone of the Royal Family.

After Royal Prince Relles took the document, the servant girl moved back to her position. “Royal Princess Maelorian, Ambassador General Daric Tigerpearl, Kazuki from Aielyn, Althyr Kingdom.,” stated lastly by Royal Steward as the servant is moving towards me. I feel my Royal Siblings, all their eyes on me all, but Crown Princess Rosephia.

“Now that you have found your Royal Consorts and the dates of your future nuptials. I would like to tell you all Royal Princess Maelorian will be the first and shall have hers in two days. I am sure you were presented with information that an event was happening at the end of the week. Now you know, A Marriage Alliance with Aielyn, Althyr Kingdom is a grand celebration. We will have one of their Generals is no small feat. No other Country will try to topple us with Aielyn, Althyr Kingdom as one of our alliances. Now go get ready for your Royal Sister wedding and your own soon to follow.” stated Royal Mother then dismissing us from the Royal Hall.

After we have all excited and the doors to the Royal Hall closed, I begin to move towards the twins. Crown Princess Rosephia stops me and I feel my other Royal Siblings again eyes on me. “What was Royal Sister Mírida, doing here.” she hisses in a whisper. I answer honestly “I do not know, but I was going to find out.” Royal Sister Rosephia nods. As I turn to go to them, the twins are gone already.

I decided to talk to Royal Steward about what happened so I go around to the servant entrance to the Royal Hall. Just as I reach the door he appears before me. “Royal Steward, may I have a word,” I say to him. As a former Royal Concubine, an elder, and father figure to me as well, I give him as much respect as I can even though he is a man. “Royal Princess Maelorian….I know why your here, I’m about to go find out myself.” He stated apologetically. “I’ll go with you,” I stated knowing Crown Princess Rosephia would want to know. Royal Steward nodded and we went out the courtyard up to the Royal Princess’ and Princes’ chambers.

We reach the top of the stairs and turn right entering into the Royal Salon of one of three Princesses chambers. Each area has a salon and three bed chambers. Large enough for a small home in each room. Between the last Princess chambers there is a large bathing room. Then after that is a smaller bathing room for the Princes it’s about half the size of the Princess’ one. Then there are three chambers for the Princes’ but instead of a Royal Salon they have a Royal Vestibule. Again the Royal Vestibule and three bedrooms but all are half the size of the Princess’ ones.

As we near Royal Princess Mírida chamber, we hear arguing. As Royal Steward knocked it got quite and we waited for a Royal Maid to open and announce them. Then we heard a loud crack but no one called out and no one rushed from the chambers. We looked at each other as the door slowly opens. “Royal Princess and Royal Steward,” stuttered the Royal Maid. “We are here to see the twin Royal Princess’ or just Royal Princess Mírida,” stated the Royal Steward. A hand grabbed the door from the Royal Maid. And pulled it open further. “Lady La Croix, I will speak to my father and Royal Sister. “Yes….Princess,” said Lady La Croix a little strangely.

Once the Royal Maid moved away, Royal Sister smiled sweetly saying “How can I help you Royal Sister and father.” “What were you doing there in the Royal Hall and not being summoned,” stated Royal Steward. “Oh father, but I was summoned.” stated Royal Sister. “No, your Sister Princess Nimhe was summoned.,” stated Royal Steward. “Also you except her Royal marriage document. That doesn’t belong to you!” I hissed at my Royal Sister.

Then surprising us both she giggled, “O that, Royal Sister was worried about this marriage and went a little overboard, but she realized her mistake. It well taken care of now. I have my marriage document and Royal Sister went to make amends for herself in the Royal Bethel,” She turn and walked back into the room and picked up the Royal Marriage document off the desk. “See father, if you do not mind and Royal Sister, I am returning to my own room to read over and prepare for your marriage as well as my own.” stated Royal Sister.

We nodded and accept the pretext and nod. Then slowly make our way out of my Royal Sisters chambers. “I am relieved Royal Princess Mírida came to her senses,” stated Royal Steward. I slowly nod and watch him go down the stairs. I still have a feeling something not right.
