Eleanor followed behind Corey, her trusting demeanor causing Corey to chuckle softly. "What are you laughing at now? Did I do something wrong?" Eleanor asked, puzzled. She glanced down at her dress, as if searching for something amiss. Corey shook his head and smiled as he explained, "It's nothing, just me." Eleanor smoothed her skirt and said no more. "Aren't you worried I might abduct you?" Corey suddenly asked. Eleanor raised an eyebrow, wondering if this was one of those typical dry jokes men make. She didn't take it seriously, and, looking directly into Corey's amused eyes, calmly replied, "Not at all. But if you do sell me off, be sure to set a high price. Otherwise, I'll feel undervalued."
