#19 Busi's Fake Boyfriend

There is a knock at the door few hours after Pride has left the flat. Busi, puzzled at who it might be, she ignores the knock and continues watching TV. She is not bothered because she knows that she and Pride hardly have any visitors coming over. Also, she does not think it can be Pride knocking because she has her own set of keys, neither could it be Chloe nor Sandra. The securities would not let them in without having to notify her first. The knock is hardening and becoming unbearable, forcing her to reach to the door. "Come on, roomie, please open for me." Pleads Pride from outside the door

From the word roomie, Busi could just tell it is Pride at the door. She goes on and opens for her anyway.

"Geez, I nearly could not open for you. What happened to your ke…" Handsome's muscular physique and handsomeness unfortunately came on too strong for Busi to hold herself, also making her not to be able to finish her question to Pride. She glances at Pride, then back at Handsome, still not believing what she is seeing in front of her. She shifts on the side, paving a way for Handsome and Pride to come in eventually.

After letting them in, she immediately runs to the bathroom to freshen up, while Pride on the other hand, runs to the kitchen to grab something for Handsome to drink.

"Oh my gosh, what is Pride doing to me? How can she bring such a hottie to be my boyfriend in disguise?" Busi blushes as she loudly murmures these words to herself, while also looking herself at the mirror, titivating her makeup.

She finally emerges from the bathroom and goes sit on the same couch Pride is sitting on and faces Handsome.

Handsome is Pride's biological younger brother aged twenty three. He is three years younger than Pride and two years younger than Busi. He is a rugby player by profession, hence his masculine body which makes him appear more older than the two roommates. He has good looks though, more like Pride. He is also dark skinned with a sharp nose, trimmed moustache and a clean rich pitch black frizzy hair.

"Busi, please meet my younger brother, Handsome. Handsome, please meet my roommate Busi, whom I was telling you about." Busi and Handsome stand up at the same time to shake hands soon after Pride introduced them to each other.

"Do not worry, I have already briefed him." Adds Pride, looking at Busi's direction.

"Hmm, Handsome, you really are handsome indeed. Is Handsome your real name?" Asked Busi looking fiercely into his eyes, admiring his handsomeness.

"Yeah, Handsome is my real name. You are also beautiful. The lady you trying to make jealous must be lucky." Says Handsome with such calm demeanor, putting her at ease.

"So how much are we talking about?" Busi gazes at both of them.

"Ag, you don't have to stress about that, you just tell me when you would like us to start working." Handsome, takes a sip of his drink

"Please come at the office tomorrow, few minutes before my knock off time and wait for me at the parking lot. You can even wait outside the car so that you open the door for me while Chloe is watching." The three of them look at each other and start to giggle. Handsome then gulps his drink and leaves.

The following day, Winston and Chloe fetch Busi from the gate of her flat. She has not yet moved in to her new apartment, she is still waiting for her day off day at the CMA so that she can be able to move some of her belongings appropriately.

When Busi and Chloe arrive at the office, they find Sandra already sitting on her desk, working.

"Oh Busi, welcome to our offices. Hope you will have fun working with us before permanently moving to the Miss USA Organization." Sandra says without even looking at her, she is so invested in what she is doing on her laptop.

Busi, looking so lost, stares directly at Sandra's face, hoping Sandra will also do the same but Sandra remains hooked up to the laptop.

"So, I am still gonna go work somewhere else? asked Busi with the troubled face

Chloe gazes at Busi and quickly jumps in, purposely blocking Sandra from responding. "You do not have to stress yourself about that for now, it is not going to happen soon."

She changes the topic whilst still gazing at Busi. "Please follow me to other floors, I want to officially introduce you to our staff members. Yesterday I could not do it because Sandra was not here to take over on some work." She exits the door and Busi quietly follows after her.

Sandra now feels as though she has more reasons to be suspicious of, than she was before, taking from the special treatment Chloe is giving to Busi. She remains nodding her head endlessly and murmuring silently to herself soon after Busi and Chloe left the office.

"This year Miss USA is one of a kind I tell you, Chloe is more hands on than she usually is to the previous winners. She hardly assigns me any task involving this Busi woman. Can she be hiding something from me, or she is trying to tell me indirectly that my services are no longer needed in her company? But, what I find strange is that she does assign me to other tasks not involving Busi. This whole thing does not make any sense."

Busi and Chloe barge in, disturbing her hovering mind.

"You guys were quick, what happened?"asked Sandra, expecting the answer particularly from Chloe.

"Ah..I forgot that the rest of the staff members went to the charity event. The only two people who did not go are those two guys from Human Resources Department. They say they have so much paperwork to do." Says Chloe pulling out the chair from the other side of her desk and putting it next to her chair for Busi to sit down and they both work on one laptop.

It is exactly 30 minutes before knock off time when Busi's phone suddenly rings. She stands up to go answer it outside, at the more private space. It is Handsome, telling her that he is already waiting outside the car at the parking lot.

She then hangs up and goes back to sit next to Chloe until it is completely time to go. Sandra locks the office as usual and the three of them go to the parking lot. Sandra greets Winston and then climbs inside her car and drives off.

Busi, instead of going to Winston who is also standing out of the car, next to Handsome's car, she greets him and shoots straight to Handsome while both Chloe and Winston are starring. Handsome, pretending not to see them, hugs Busi, opens a passenger door for her, he also climbs in and drives off instantly, leaving both Chloe and Winston behind. Chloe, looking so shocked and confused, only got inside the car after Handsome's car had driven off.
