#20 Chloe Goes All Crazy

"Please switch off that radio." Winston is taken aback by the frustrated voice coming from the back seat. He only picked up the word radio from the whole sentence but he can tell that whatever message which was contained in the sentence was not pleasant at all. He lowers the volume slightly down and twists his neck to face Chloe's from the back seat. "Excuse me ma'am, you were saying?"

"I said turn that thing down and try to drive a bit faster." Reiterates Chloe with so much rage in her voice.

"I am sorry ma'am, thought you were beginning to like my playlist since you asked for it the other day as well." Winston instantly switches the radio off without arguing any further with her and presses harder on the accelerator.

Chloe quickly realizes that she spoke to him harshly and apologizes. " I am sorry Winston, I did not mean to shout at you like that, I just had a rough day today at the office.

Winston just nods his head and continues driving, without letting her behavior get into him. Luckily, he has been a driver for almost all of his life, dealing with all different kinds of personalities and he pretty well understands women and their forever changing moods.

When they arrive at Chloe's gate, Chloe could not even grant him the chance to open the passenger door for her like he normally does, she just opened it herself and quietly went straight inside the house. "Bye Miss Hemilton." Winston murmured loudly to himself and drove off.

Chloe, without even putting the bags down when entering the house, the first place she went to is her confined bar. This time she did not close her eyes when reaching for the wine from the wine rag, she just faced down, ran her hands and pulled it out. Because the whole house has got mirrors everywhere you go, except only for the shower room. She cautiously puts down her bags on the floor, strips herself naked, leaving all her clothes scattered on the floor and goes into the shower whilst still having the bottle of wine in her hand. She runs the shower while also drinking the wine directly from the bottle without using any glass. She then starts to have a conversation with herself, of course the conversation is about Busi.

"Can this mean I must just forget about her like that? Can that muscular guy be her boyfriend? But where was he all this while when Busi was using Uber taxis? And what kind of a man would allow her girlfriend to share a bed with a woman who has a man's features?" She twists the shower tap to release more hot water and lets the water run over her body while pausing a bit from driving herself crazy with all these questions she knows for sure she will never get answers for.

She spent the entire two hours in the shower and finished the whole bottle of wine. To her surprise, she is still sober afterwards. She picks the bottle up to make sure it is really empty, indeed it is empty. "This Busi woman must be really stressing me out, I, Chloe Hemilton, drink the whole bottle of wine and remain sober, not even tipsy. This is so strange." She beats herself hard on the chest and nods her head. She leaves the bottle lying on the floor inside the bathroom and goes to bed.

At least waking up the next day to go to the office was not a mission. Winston fetched her as normal, but he firstly passed by the makeup artist before driving to the office. He is now used to that routine.

By the time they get to the parking lot, Handsome and Busi are already sitting inside Handsome's car at the parking lot, same spot where Handsome's car was parked yesterday. They made sure they arrive earlier than everyone so that Chloe can be able to see Busi climb off Handsome's car. The minute they spot Winston driving towards them, they both turned to look at each other and pretend to have an erotic talk.

Immediately after Chloe stepped outside the car, Busi also stepped outside Handsome's car and they both walked together to the office.

From the parking lot to the office, Busi notices awkwardness in Chloe's tone of voice, it is as if she is being forced to talk. Busi let her be anyways and also pretends as if all is well just the same way Chloe was doing with Kevin's issue.

Sandra, sitting quietly on her desk, minding her own business, could sense the tension between the two of them soon after they have entered the room.

"Sandra, please make sure by the end of business day today, Busi receives her laptop from the IT department." Chloe instructs Sandra with such conviction as she goes on to sit down on her desk and starts working, leaving Busi wandering around the office.

Sandra, still shocked at what is happening, she does not know how to respond or how to act because she knows Chloe to always be the one taking care of everything when it comes to Busi. She clears her throat and responds finally. "Hmmm...noted Chloe."

Busi, overwhelmed by the cold shoulder Chloe is giving her, she excuses herself and goes to the bathroom. While she is out to the bathroom, it crosses Chloe's mind that once you won the title of Miss USA, you are not supposed to have a boyfriend, nor get married until your reign is over. She then calls Sandra to come to her desk.

"I suspect Busi is having a boyfriend, please call her and remind her to go back into her contract and check out page number five. It talks about dating and marriages."

Before Sandra could answer her back, Busi was already back inside, disturbing their conversation. Chloe immediately stands up to go outside and winks to Sandra, signaling for her to start addressing Busi of the issue on hand. Busi, not certain of how to respond to Sandra, she apologizes and waits until she gets home to Pride. She trusts Pride so much that she will guide her on what to say the next day she goes back to the office.
