The room erupted in roars. Kenji and Leo both on their feet shouting, while Godric and Kana were trying to shout over them. Val was throwing her hands in the air, while Mallon was pacing in circles. The only one who wasn’t causing a scene was Dora. She was still seated, her narrowed brown eyes on me. When we made eye contact, I had to quickly look away from her, her gaze too intense.
“Quiet!” Ryker roared in a deep voice that made my knees buckle slightly. Everyone settled down and took their seats. “Please, one question at a time.”
