Liz's POV

„I hate Mondays!“, I'm sitting on a barstool in the kitchen with my second cup of coffee, totally exhausted. The twins are watching some kid's show I've watched milion times, but they're entertained, which gives me time to make my breakfast and possibly another coffee.

„You look like sh*t.“, Tessa comes to the kitchen from upstairs and fills her own mug with coffee.

„I had a terrible night. I feel like I got hit by a semi truck. My whole body hurts and I feel drained.“

Tessa told me to take breaks during the day, because the teens are home and can help with the babies too. I told her that that won't be necessary and wished her a good day at work. Before lunch I go for a walk with the twins, we go to play at a playground and after lunch they go for a short nap. I lay down with them on the floor on their big pillows they have and fall asleep almost immediately.

„Liz. Liz.“ I feel small hands shaking with my shoulder. „Wake up.“ It's Robin. Au! He's sitting on my stomach, he thinks I'm an amusement park or something.

„Honey, can you get down, it's aucheez.“

He only gets his face closer to me and wishes me good morning with his sweet voice he does everytime he does something wrong and kisses me.

„Come ooon.“ I hug him anyway and Anna comes to cuddle too. We watch a movie before dinner and after our meal Tessa takes over. I'm in the kitchen doing the dishes when I hear a doorbell.

Kris goes to open the door, I don't know who it is, I just hear Kris telling them to come in and go to the kitchen. A minute later Kris comes to the kitchen with Matthew.

„Hi, what are you doing here?“

„I told you that I'm coming tonight to hangout.“

I look at him with tiredness in my eyes and then shrug my shoulders and hold them up, close my eyes and apologize. „I'm so sorry Matt, I forgot, I'm really tired today.“

Matthew looks at me with a strange expression. „It's ok. I can go if you want.“

„No!“ I don't want him to go, I want to be with him. „It's ok, I'll finish the dishes and we can go somewhere.“

„Take a break Liz, come on. Go.“ I look at Kris who is looking at me a bit angry. „You were working the whole day, I can finish this. Go change and go out.“ I only nod and excuse myself. I go to my room and put on comfortable cotton shorts and baby blue oversized tshirt. When I go up the stairs I hear Kris talking to Matt. I know that eavesdropping is bad, but when I hear Kris's question I want to know what Matt will say.

„Of course she can go... So, it's going really god with Liz, eh? I've never seen her this invested in a relationship.“

„It's great, I really like spending time with her. I like HER.“ I can hear the smile in Matthew's voice.

„Good. Just promise me that you'll be honest with her. She's carrying few scars from past relationships and she doesn't need another one.“

Ok, that's a signal for me to go there, he doesn't need to know more, not now at least. „Ok, I'm ready. We can go.“

„Have fun you two. And Matthew... this Thursday we're watching the new Suicide squad if you wanna join.“

„That would be great, thank you. See ya later.“

Matthew and I decided to go for a walk around the neighbourhood, because I'm too tired.

„Are you ok?“ Matthew stops walking and steps in front of me looking me in the eye.

„Yeah, just tired, I had really bad dreams the whole night.“ I hold both Matthew's hands, it's like my energy is getting back a bit. It always feels so good, his touch. „Have you ever had a dream where all your worst moments and fears came as one and then one that created a new fear?“

Matthew is looking at me for a few moments and then shakes his head. „I don't think so. Wanna talk about it?“

„No, it's ok.“ I start walking, but I don't really feel like talking and Matthew is quiet too. But maybe talking to him is not a bad idea after all, he said he's serious about this and I want to share the good and the bad with him. If he's uncomfortable with it I'll just stop. „Actually, can we sit somewhere?'' We sit on a bench near Main Street and one of the parks here. I tell him about my dream, how scared I felt and that I saw him at the end of the dream, he was talking to me, he tried to calm me down and then he started to disappear and I couldn't do anything about it. „I heard you and Kris talking about me, I know he told you that I had bad relationships before. I guess that all my insecurities and fears showed in that dream, I don't know what else that would be. I really like you Matthew and I think that somewhere in the back of my mind I'm still scared that you'll leave or change your mind or just disappear and I'll never hear from you again. I know it might be a lot considering the fact that we met a few days ago, but I just had to get it out of my chest.“ I look at him and he's just staring at me with big eyes, his jaw is clenched and his eyes are getting darker. „Please say something.“

Matthew's POV

When Kris told me to be honest with her and that she had bad experiance before, I wanted to find the guy that hurt her and snap his f**k*ng neck. But now she's telling me that she's scared I'll leave. I will never let you go!

„Now listen.“ I take her hands in mine and hold them tight. „I'm not going anywhere. I'm right here, I told you that I want you and that is not changing. Ever. She remembers? I mean she was able to see us, but I did not think she would remember.

She's looking at me with hurt in her eyes, I wish I knew what she's thinking right now. „Matt? Tell me.“ I don't need her to tell me more. These simple words are enough. I knew she's smart, she put 2 and 2 together. „Am I going crazy or that dream and you in it really happened?“

This is gonna be difficult, I don't think I can tell her everything yet, but I could tell her something, I have a feeling she can take it. „Yes, I saw some of your memories last night, I had to know what is your connection with magic. Listen love, there is much more in this world than you know. There are different magical creatures you have no idea about. In this world there are not only ghosts, spirits or demons, but also witches, but I have a feeling you already know that.“ she nods her head. „I won't tell you everything yet, I think that would be too much too quickly, just know that you and I are destined to be together. The sparks you feel everytime we touch, that is our mate bond. You are my mate, you are my soulmate, my other half. Believe me when I say that I'm staying with you no matter what.“, with that said I kiss her deeply. She hugs me tightly and deepens the kiss. I knew she's ready to hear it, at least about our bond. I stop the kiss and look at her. She's not smiling but her eyes are the happiest I've seen. I smile at her and caress her cheek. She touches my hand that's on her cheek and finally smiles with the most beautiful and wholehearted smile.

„By the way, Kris said that Thursday is your last day you work and you are free since Friday. We could leave for my brother's house on Friday morning if you want.“

We talked some more about our weekend together and decided that I'll sleep at her house after Thursday's movie and we'll leave Friday morning until Sunday evening. She really looks tired, last night was hard for both of us. I walk her home, kiss her good night and promise to come again tomorrow.

Liz's POV

Every evening Matthew comes to hangout, we go for a walk, for a drink, but today is different. Matthew came in the morning with coffee and offer he'll help with the babies. After the dinner we are staying in the house and watching a movie with everyone. Matthew and Kris are really getting along. They're currently in the kitchen taking shots and talking about movies they like. I'm in the basement with Tessa and Liv, we're just gossiping, and eating some of the snacks we bought. Then we hear a loud laugh and Kris with Matthew come to the home theater room. They seem to be slightly tipsy already. I'm watching them finishing their drink and eating popcorn. I just chuckle and whisper „Such boys.“, to that Matthew looks at me and gives me an amused look.

I'm laying on a couch watching them when Matthew decides to come to lay down on me. „What are you doing? Wait what...“ He lays his head on my chest and snuggles as close as possible. „You want to cuddle?“, he chuckles and nods. After the movie we stay in the theater room and play some games on Xbox, but after midnight everyone goes to their rooms and Matt and I have to wake up early.

„I'm just gonna take a quick shower, ok?“ I go in the bathroom with my tshirt I use instead of pyjamas and try to close the door when Matthew gets inside and locks the door behind him.

„Where do you think your going?“ he asks me with a giggly voice.

„I'll join.“ He wiggles his eyebrows and starts to undress himself. I just stand there, don't move and look at him with big eyes. I blink few times when he's done and turns to face me.
