During Jay's stay, Hazel spent the night in the Gazebo. She defied her parents to do so. She also had a million reasons to keep her distance from Jay. Hazel really couldn't accept Jay. Her parents were also resigned and kept apologizing to Jay for their eldest daughter's attitude.
And actually, Jay also had another reason. He prefers to stay at Hazel's house because he doesn't want to receive many questions regarding his career, let alone what is currently happening. Luckily, Jay has an alibi that he wants to stay with his wife.
It's been two weeks since Jay settled in the village. But there has been no development in his and Hazel's relationship. After spending much time, Jay is increasingly curious about her figure. It seems Hazel is too perfect to let go.
Jay catches his breath when his cell phone vibrates, an incoming message from the director warning him that he must return. An updated schedule had also been sent to his email address. Suddenly his mind became restless as he looked at the view of the village surrounded by mountains.
"Are you looking for my sister?" Suddenly Elsa was beside him.
"A-Ah, not really."
"I also just wanted to say, if you're looking for her, she's in the meadow."
"Meadow? Alone?"
"Certainly not alone."
Jay widened his eyes. He suddenly panicked.
"Hazel is with Kai."
"Kai? Who is he?" Jay got up from his seat.
Elsa laughed. "Kai is our sheep."
Without any thinking, Jay took off running, riding his bike to reach the meadow at the end of the village.
The spacious field makes the sun's rays feel more intense. But it wasn't so bad when the wind was so strong, and the green color filled every corner of Jay's vision as he walked on the grassland. It's a breathtaking sight.
He saw a group of sheep running after their leader, a fatter sheep. Then a tall woman in a bucket hat and a body-hugging jumpsuit was waiting.
Hazel.
She looked fantastic. She was also so bright when the sunlight shone on her. Strangely, she could show off her beautiful smile to the sheep but not to Jay.
"What a strange woman!"
And funnily enough, Jay took advantage of the moment to capture Hazel's figure with his cell phone. He took a picture of her.
As a celebrity, Jay has seen his fair share of beautiful women. However, none of them seem as eccentric as Hazel-a simple woman who is very impressive. Hazel could even get the sheep into the pen.
"You still dare to appear in front of me?"
The voice made Jay flinch. He hurriedly put the cell phone into his pants pocket. He didn't realize that Hazel had caught him.
"Why would a celebrity come to a village shepherdess like me? Aren't you disgusted?"
"What do you mean?" Jay chuckled.
"That's right. I'm disgusted by your presence." Hazel said, when locking up the sheep sometimes.
"Hazel!" screeched Jay as the sheep widened their eyes in surprise. "I want to talk to you."
"Alas, I don't want to."
"I mean it!"
"Me too."
"Where did you sleep last night?" asked Jay, along with the bleating of the sheep.
Hazel didn't respond. She was busy herding the sheep into the pen casually, as if she was friendly with them.
"Hazel!" Jay shouted angrily. "Why don't you answer my question? Am I the person you hate the most?"
Hazel stopped her activity then immediately closed the gate. She looked sternly at the man in front of her. "You're right. I'm sick of you."
"I'm new to finding someone who openly hates me. Could you be the one spreading rumors about me?!" Jay approached suspiciously. "Based on your behavior, it seems like you're the one who's quite capable of making this mess to me."
Hazel shook her head in wonder. She laughed silently. "I don't understand anything about your career. Again, how can you talk like that after you did such a disgusting thing to me? How shameless."
"What do you want from me?"
Hazel rolled her eyes lazily, then looked back at the man. "I want you and me to stop seeing each other. It's only two months away and I'll be free to make my own life choices, but you showed up. You're ruining my life!"
"So what choice do you make if I don't show up?"
"That's my business."
"Are you getting married again?"
Hazel chuckled. "Being married to you has already traumatized me."
"So what now? I've already come. Can't we talk more about ourselves?"
"I have nothing more to say to you. I've been holding it in for ten years and want you to divorce me legally. Say it to our parents!"
Jay massaged his throbbing forehead. "If you didn't like this marriage, why didn't you say it so long ago? Why didn't you contact me? Why did you complicate your own life? Why did you make yourself hate me? Now look who has the most problems!"
"What?! I'm problematic?!" Hazel chuckled. "Listen! You don't even know what it's like to be me. I can't do what I want. I don't get my freedom just to keep your reputation! While you can easily get everything. You've had such an easy life that you can't understand others!" Hazel said, without pause and with emphasis.
"What?! You said my life was easy?! What do you know about me? Huh?!"
"Of course, I know everything about you. You're the talk of the world!" Hazel rolled her eyes. "I can't understand. What do they expect from a man like you when you're just a show-off and forget about your family and wife? What an image!"
"And what's fun is... your family and my family too, they tolerate it and are still proud of you!" she continued.
Jay's hands clenched into tight fists. His face turned red. "You've gone too far, Hazel!
The woman laughed crisply. She felt so satisfied. "Not yet. I haven't crossed the line if I haven't asked about..." Hazel stepped closer, then whispered, "How many women have you slept with?"
"Enough!”
Jay raised one hand right in front of Hazel's face. He pointed to a forefinger that almost touched her eye. "You! I'm going to make you feel the real torture! Just watch!"
