After completing the transfer and reassuring the woman of their imminent departure, he replaced her gag, then signalled for Jacob to give him a hand. Together, they gently manoeuvred the woman’s chair so that she sat directly opposite the door to her hab. Upon their departure, he had promised the woman that they would leave the door open, so that other residents could come to her aid after they had taken their leave.
