Again Don Miguel bowed, and then, turning to Lizbeth standing silent by his side, he raised her hand to his lips. “My life is at your feet,” he said softly. Then turning, he walked across the cabin with his lips smiling, his head held high. For a moment the eyes of the two men met as he passed Rodney.
