Rowan’s warning kept ringing in my brain, and with each second it grew louder and louder. A red light reflected from the moon into his study, and the voice in my head became even louder. I stared at the window, then the door, and that was my cue to get the f**k out of this place. Before I stepped out, I thought about the fact that if I left, I had nothing waiting for me at home, but if I stayed, I would probably be dead, and although both were not happy ending, I would rather be alive than torn apart by God knows what. I could barely grab my bag cause my hands were shaking. I finally shoved my things into my bag and headed for the door. I needed to leave this place. The atmosphere had changed, as if it were aware that I was in great danger. I rushed into the hallway, and everywhere was silent, no staff, no voices, just me in this madhouse. I needed to leave, and I needed to leave fast. I passed through the fire pit, which the flames had reduced to barely lighting the room. I hurriedly went to the door and pushed it open; the cold air hit my face. I was finally outside, but it even seemed scarier than inside. The forest was getting dark, and the red moon was rising above the trees. “I need to leave, I need to leave!!”
I went down the hill as fast as my medium-length legs could go, a good day to have long legs, as I whispered to myself, everywhere was completely silent; the only sound heard was my boots crunching loudly on dried leaves. I continued down the hill, thinking to myself that if I could reach the road ahead, I could easily flag a car or something and get the hell out of this place. Then something changed, the atmosphere became stiff, like pressure in the air. I stopped and turned my back to see if anything was there. Nothing. I sighed a sigh of relief. I looked back down the path and saw Rowan standing a few feet from me. My heart sank as immediate fear consumed me. I stumbled back, “How did you…”
“GO!” he growled
His voice sounded different; it sounded rough, nothing like the one I heard earlier.
“I'm going!” I said quickly, my breath literally shivering. I tried to move around him, but he moved, and he moved fast.
Now he was right in front of me, and I forcefully ran into his chest. His chest was so hard that I felt a bit dizzy. My head spun, and I couldn’t smell anything other than smoke, rain, and something different.
Rowan grabbed my shoulders and shoved me into the bark of a tree. I screamed in pain as he held me to the tree, trapping me there. He slammed his hand against the tree inches from my head. He leaned in so close I could see his eyes had sunk.
“I TOLD YOU TO LEAVE!! WHY ARE YOU STILL HERE?!!
“How can I when you're holding me back?” I said, trying to push him away.
He lowered his head next to my ear and smelled my neck. “I can smell the fear off you, and I'm trying so f*****g hard to resist you. His body was pressed against mine, hot and defined. My skirt had gone up a bit, and I could feel him against my bare thighs.
He was hard….
His d**k pressed against my hip hard and demanding.
“Rowan…”, I whispered
“DON’T CALL MY NAME, E”, he snapped
He moved even closer, shoving his knee between my legs, making me open them.
“You have no idea what you're doing to me”, he sounded different this time in a whimpering tone. “Every second you stand here smelling like that, making me cower more and more”.
He stared at me, his eyes darting from my eyes to my lips and lingering on my breasts.
I could see the hunger in his eyes, and it made my body crave his touch. I was scared as hell, but my body felt hot and tense, and I couldn’t help but imagine him kissing my lips till they went numb.
“The moon is up, ha said as he’s forehead dropped against my shoulder. He was shaking a bit like he was trying to resist something.
“Kaira….you have no f*****g idea how much I want to throw you in the dirt and f**k you until you can't walk, until you're full of my c*m and begging for more”.
I stood there staring at him for a while and fought the urge to shut the f**k up, but my lips betrayed me.
“Then why don’t you?” I whispered, the words spilling out of my mouth before I could stop them.
Rowan lifted his head, looking at me like he wanted to devour me. He stared at me like he was fighting himself from giving in.
He leaned in closer, my breasts touching his chest, “because if I start,” he whispered, “I won't stop”
“And I won’t be the only one”
Everywhere went silent.
We both stared at each other intensely, and I knew this was only the beginning.
