Chloe walked into her boss's office and was greeted with a blast of cool air which made her shiver a little.
"Good morning sir", She said
"Good morning Anderson", He replied
"I trust you're doing great"
"Absolutely.You requested to see me sir"
"Yes, take a seat"
"Thank you " Chloe dragged a chair towards her before settling down
"So let me get straight to business and explain this to you in details" He said swirling sideways on his chair.
"From all indications, you are the least known journalist in this company which is quite an advantage for us to be able to successfully get through this plan"
Donald stood up with a slight smile, walked to Chloe's side and sat on his table directly facing Chloe,
" You will be going in as a personal assistant into Skies corporation"
"Skies Corporation? The same Skies Corporation?" Chloe said sounding amused.
"Of course, the same Corporation"
"Please go ahead ", she urged him
"Good", he said as he continued, "We all know that Mr Corey Giles is a discreet man, less information about him is in the press but the people are hungry to know more about him." He paused before continuing, "The plan is for you to go in as a personal assistant, get more information about him, document it and submit it to the company in a matter of months."
"Here is the catch, our company gets more recognition, you get to be the most sought-after journalist in the whole of New Jersey and we all live a successful life with people yearning for us to work for them"
" Isn't that a nice strategy? "
" Ye... Yes sir, it is"
" I'll give you some time to think about it. I'm simply letting you know aforehand so you'll be able to prepare yourself for everything. I will send you a mail on the things you need to know and you should also do some research about Corey Giles himself and we will see to the rest tomorrow"
" Okay sir, I'll do so"
" Fine, take care of yourself okay " he said while patting her shoulder. "... and the company will really have to do a little brush up on you. You look... undescribable"
" Uhm, yes sir. Thank you, I'll take my leave now"
" Please do"
Chloe walked as fast as her legs could carry her to the toilet before jumping around like a child given a lollipop after being denied for weeks. She was happy, amazed, surprised and of course grateful. She's finally going on her first official assignment since employment and the company will change her wardrobe?! A dream come true.
'I have get back to the office before these people start saying unwarranted narrations again' she thought as she adjusted her gown and headed to her office.

Skies Corporation was buzzing with activities and the manager was having the time of his life with clients walking in and out of his office
The manager dialed a number on his phone...
"Good morning" He said
"Good morning sir" The other person at the end of the call responded
"Tell the human resource manager to put down the vacancy post. I found a suitable lady for the job"
"Alright sir, I'll let him know"
Mr Sage, the manager of Skies Corporation, had already been contacted by Mr Donald to bring Chloe in as the PA. Mr Sage agreed but of course requested for some cash which he told Mr Donald he'd use to pacify those in charge of hiring employees but as far as Mr Sage is concerned, he definitely would not be giving anybody any money. He had done businesses like this before and he wouldn't be willing to let go of such money to someone under him.
His office phone rang again, this time from the chairman,
"Sir, we found someone for the job and we sent a message to her already that she was hired", the chairman explained
"Well, send another message that it has been reversed ", Mr Sage responded
" But sir, she was sent by The Millennials, they wouldn't like this at all"
"Who cares about what they like and what they don't. I've given my order, don't stress me and learn to carry out simple instructions"
"Okay sir, I really hope it doesn't turn out bad though"
"Like I care" He said swirling on his chair before hanging up the call.
The Millennials are a group of broadcasting companies who has received multiple awards as the viewers choice. They would do anything to get what they want and as it is, what they also want is to get closer to Mr Giles and getting their proposed position hijacked from them was not part of the plan.
Skyler, the journalist from The Millennials, who was the initial personal assistant-to-be was surprised to see another mail telling her that her position has been occupied.
"Is this a joke? Are these people kidding me?!",she said almost raising her voice
"How will you say I'm hired today and suddenly turn around and say I'm no longer hired?! This had better been a joke. "
She picked up her phone about to dial her boss when a call came in.
" Hello" , the person from the other end of the call said
"Hello and who is this?" She responded irritably
"This is the manager of the hiring committee of Skies Corporation"
"Oh really?!" She said with a hint of sarcasm, "and what is this crap that you guys pulled?"
"We are really sorry for the inconvenience but our manager called and said he found a replacement", he sounded sorry which pacified Skyler to an extent. " We can still offer you the position of a secretary if that would work"
" Secretary huhn"... " Do I look like a secretary material to you?!"
" We're sorry miss it's just that..."
" You know what? Put me in" Skyler said interrupting the man. A replacement for her? Who dares to replace her? "...and forward the information of my supposed replacement to me"
" That would be unprofessional miss, we can't just release.. "
" Do you want the boss to hear of this inefficiency you guys showcased? "
" Miss... " He said before pausing and reconstructing his sentence
" Would that make you overlook the mistake and not escalate it? "
" If the information provided is enough, yes. I will be expecting the info "
" Okay then. I'll forward it once the manager sends it in"
" Good"
" Thank you so much Miss " he said with an end tone.
" Whatever... Just be quick" She said and ended the call.
" Oh I've got a b***h to handle." She said to herself and squealed "She'll regret taking up this job."
Ding! A message appeared on her phone. "Her name is Chloe Anderson. The rest of the information will be sent soon" she read. "Alright Chloe time for business" She said as she fell on her bed smiling at the ceiling.
